Rong Nian transmigrated into a book.
When he woke up, he'd become the pitiful protagonist uke in a melodramatic novel, abused by everyone. His family despised him, his friends used him, and even his affectionate boyfriend treated him like a lowly pet, teasing him whenever he pleased.
After his hopes for life were crushed again and again, the protagonist uke reached his breaking point and ended his life by jumping from a building.
Only then did the scum semes realize how important he was. Their eyes turned red, and they went mad, screaming for him to come back.
The good news was that the story after Rong Nian's arrival was completely different from the original.
The bad news was that the entire plot had already played out.
So when he opened his eyes, he found three scum semes gathered by his hospital bed, looking wretched. They begged Rong Nian to give them another chance so they could start over.
.
Rong Nian wasn't the protagonist uke.
He was just a thief who'd accidentally stolen someone else's body. He couldn't make any decisions on behalf of the person who'd died.
But Rong Nian couldn't escape these selfish, arrogant penitents. They followed him everywhere, relentlessly declaring a love he couldn't possibly relate to.
Until one day, someone came to his side, curling his lips in a sneer and speaking with a scornful voice that was almost disgusted.
"Do you really not understand that a halfhearted slap will only make a dog even more brazen?"
[Content Warnings]
This is an indulgence fic! Neither of them is normal: a dark, twisted seme and a cowardly, saintly uke. Hehe, I'm writing the stuff I love to read.
A short story with no outline, so the plot will go wherever it wants. The characters might end up different from their descriptions, but the general direction won't change.
In short, I'm writing what I want, so feel free to indulge in or avoid whatever might be a trigger for you.
Includes a retro aristocratic academy setting and some liberties with common knowledge. It's very cheesy.
The companion novel is another book in my collection, The Root of Decadence.
Theme: Keep a kind heart and love the world.
