After Changing Classes Into a Magical Girl, I Became a Dog Again

After defeating Naraku, Inuyasha is ambushed and killed, then becomes the spirit of a spellbook. He can no longer be a dog, only a magic book. Each day, he bickers with a coworker who lives by absorbing the essence of the sun and moon, and sits atop a lofty palace with an unscrupulous archmage, telling stories about his days as a half-demon.

He thinks life will go on like this. Just as Inuyasha finally stops hurting over losing Kagome, Clow goes and pulls a rotten trick: he splits himself in two and sends himself and his coworker to a new world!

With his quiet job gone, Inuyasha returns to the day he was born. He thinks he can recreate his past glory and rekindle his romance with Kagome, only to discover that he has become a girl.

Looking at his coworker, who came with him to the Sengoku era, and himself, still able to use magic, Inuyasha puts down Tessaiga, picks up a bird-headed staff, and decides to become a full-time magical girl.
