[DC] An Ordinary Person Decides to Become □□

One-sentence blurb:

An ordinary person decides to become mayor, and two ordinary people decide to help her.

Full blurb:

Linne Asbel is the newly appointed mayor of Gotham City. Rumor has it she was on close terms with the Cobblepot Family (Penguin) and took the mayor's seat by underhanded means.

On her third day in office, she is injured in a sudden car accident and admitted to the hospital.

Many Gotham City residents privately bet on how long it will take before she's kicked out of City Hall.

But they never find out.

After a serious car accident, Linne transmigrates to Gotham, a city with a sky-high crime rate, and comes back to life in the body of its deceased mayor.

With no other choice, she strikes a deal with a mysterious System. Now she is working hard to complete its missions so she can bring her family back to life and return to her original world.

[Asbel Says (Main Quest Updated)]

[Our mayor is a greedy woman. She has a secret, a wish, and a dream.]

Reader advisories:

1. As usual, there is no romantic pairing, but there will be friendship.

2. I'm trying to write something serious, and to explore some of my own thoughts.

3. It's probably not a power fantasy, since the protagonist is weak.

4. Updates are irregular, because each chapter takes me a long time to write.

5. Thanks for reading.

Theme: What makes people great is that they are bridges, not destinations.
