Lu An wakes up one day to find she's transmigrated into a novel as a cannon-fodder love-struck female supporting character. Bound by an unfair contract, she works herself to the bone at the male lead's company and takes the fall for him, going from a hugely popular actress to someone hated across the internet.
In the end, she can only watch the male and female leads live happily together. She is reduced to performing at street events, then gets hit and killed by a car.
System: "Go on! Defy fate and snatch the male lead away!"
Lu An: "..."
Even if she were offered a scumbag like him, she wouldn't want him. Does a female supporting character have no dignity?
"If we're changing the plot anyway, why not go after the female lead?"
System: "...?"

Later, after Lu An appears on a variety show, the male lead realizes the whole world has changed.
His girlfriend, who used to do anything he asked, turns on him the moment she hears him badmouth Lu An.
A hugely popular star says outright that the male lead is shamelessly using Lu An's name by claiming they used to date.
A top singer publicly says he wishes he had a daughter as adorable as her.
An award-winning actor declares in front of everyone that it's an honor to work with her...
Even more ridiculously, the variety show's director falls for Lu An after she keeps throwing his plans off script.
Director: "Please! Xiao Lu! No, Sister An! Join our planning team! Give me one chance to beat you!"
Lu An: "...?"
Don't fall for me, I'm just a legend

Before the show aired, netizens couldn't understand why the audience was looking forward to watching it for laughs.
[Who is Lu An? A notorious scandal magnet accused of bullying, relying on connections for roles, and using wealthy backers. Who would want to watch someone like that?]
After the show aired, netizens who had ever badmouthed Lu An fell over themselves apologizing.
[Which shameless hater made Sister An take the blame for so long? I almost missed out on her!]
[Sister An is the god of variety shows! She's my source of happiness! What's the point of life if I can't see Sister An on the weekends?!]

While Lu An is having a great time slacking off and letting loose on the show, she turns around and realizes that, somehow, she's become a huge star.
Top directors send her scripts, brands invite her to work with them, and even the other guests on the show seem to have taken a liking to her.
Netizens even dig up that the heir to the Shen Group is her number-one fan, and he admits that everything he's done for her was one-sided...
Netizens: #Shocking! Lu An's five million haters across the internet change sides overnight#
Lu An: ? This is absurd!
P.S. The original male lead gets trashed, not the original female lead.
The scumbag isn't the male lead. The actual male lead appears later.
The entertainment industry is fictional. Just enjoy it for fun.
