Survivor-X Madrid Assault Training Camp.
Yan Lie said this was where he and You Song had begun.
Three out of thirty.
The thirty contestants at the training camp came from all over the world. Only three would leave in the spotlight, each with a multimillion-dollar contract.
During that long, sweltering summer, no one knew about the secret relationship between the two of them inside the isolated training camp.
Two months later, Yan Lie left with his graduation certificate, proof that he was among the top ten percent. He turned down several multimillion-dollar offers from top overseas teams and returned to China to become IST-X's primary entry fragger.
His relationship with You Song, which had never been officially acknowledged, also quietly withered away as they ended up in different countries.
No one knew how it had begun or ended.
They'd started seeing each other without ever defining the relationship, and now they'd broken up by suddenly cutting off contact without a word.
·
During the autumn season of the SEL (Survivor-X Elite League), Yan Lie was about to push into a compound when his screen suddenly went white, accompanied by a piercing buzzing sound in his headset.
A flashbang.
In the brief time it took him to curse twice under his breath, the team inside the compound focused fire on him and instantly killed him. He was down for the count.
The clueless viewers just enjoyed the show, hastily nicknaming the newly debuted player Yan "Cracked."
Only Yan Lie knew the truth. He followed the arc of the grenade and fixed his eyes on the sniper position on his own team.
This was Yan Lie's first match since returning to China, and someone had already hurried to bribe his teammate into throwing him under the bus.
Match-fixing bastard.
Yan Lie's lips twitched into a scornful smile. In the second round, he jumped from the plane alone and, miraculously, managed to sneak into the final circle by himself.
Later, the sniper who had smeared Yan Lie's reputation ended his own professional career, leaving IST-X urgently searching for a new sniper.
As luck would have it, You Song had just earned his graduation certificate from a sniper training camp in Chile and submitted his resume to the team manager.
The manager tossed several resumes in front of Yan Lie and singled out You Song's. "Out of these young guys, he's the best."
Yan Lie's expression darkened. He kept silent.
How could he not be the best? He was the ex I stole the entry-fragger position from, forcing him to switch to sniping!!!
Tips:
1. No real-life inspiration! This is a made-up tactical battle royale shooter similar to PUBG. I mostly play MOBAs, so please point out anything that seems off.
2. A superstitious, free-spirited entry fragger and a calm, decisive in-game sniper who's awkward and slow to warm up off the field.
3. The top is a superstitious player who burns incense and tells fortunes before matches. Of course, he's also seriously skilled. He's a little conceited about his talent, so if that's not your thing, read with caution!
"The Streamer Is Actually Really Well-Behaved"
Yu Shuo first met Yuan Che in person at the draw ceremony before the challenge tournament.
The other man wore a sharp, tailored suit and stood tall and straight. His soft orange curls, ear, lip, and eyebrow piercings looked especially out of place.
Yu Shuo scoffed inwardly and looked away.
The second time hardly counted as meeting. They just happened to be having a late-night meal at the same barbecue restaurant.
This time, Yu Shuo saw Yuan Che wearing shark slippers, a sleeveless shirt, and athletic shorts.
The well-proportioned young man held a bottle of beer in his hand, his fair cheeks flushed from drinking.
A line of words in an unknown language was tattooed on his long, straight calf.
With all those red flags stacked up, Yu Shuo couldn't help privately deciding that this little streamer was probably a troublesome bad boy, even though he didn't want to judge someone by appearances.
·
On the first day of the challenge tournament, Yu Shuo's ND team, the spring champions, narrowly beat a team from the streamer division, much to everyone's surprise.
That night, the ND team held an emergency review in the meeting room of their temporary hotel.
After it was over, Yu Shuo had just stepped out of the elevator when he spotted a curly-haired young man pacing in the hallway, too nervous to knock.
He walked over with an impassive expression, but looked surprised when he met Yuan Che's eyes.
The young man's face was clean, with only two patches of redness that looked like they were left over from a recent shower.
Yu Shuo's gaze shifted downward, and he noticed that the tattoo on Yuan Che's calf had mostly come off, leaving only a few scattered traces.
"Um... my mouse broke. Captain Yu, do you have a spare I could borrow for the night?"
Yuan Che was so nervous his voice trembled. He looked at Yu Shuo, his hands behind his back, tightly twisting the hem of his shirt.
What was going on?
Yu Shuo furrowed his brow.
This guy's voice sounded so soft and sweet, like he would be easy to push around.
"I'll go get it. Wait here."
He left those words behind and turned to unlock his room.
"Little Extra"
On the day of the Start of Autumn, Yuan Che was livestreaming when the chat egged him on until he suddenly craved the first milk tea of autumn.
"I'll go ask my roommate if he'll let me buy a cup of milk tea."
After saying that, he slipped on his slippers and trotted out of the room.
The chat was flooded with speculation.
[Isn't the streamer living alone? Since when does he have a roommate???]
[This room looks so familiar...]
[Are there any ND fans here who can tell us if this is ND's dorm or not!!!]
Yuan Che returned with permission, grinning happily like a little fool.
Half an hour later, a long, strong hand reached into the frame of the streamer's tilted camera and handed him a milk tea.
Everyone stared at the watch on the wrist and fell into deep thought.
Why did it look so much like the watch Yu Shuo showed off after ND won the championship?!
Tips:
1. A sweet, lovable streamer who only pretends to be naughty, the bottom, and a professional player who's the ruler of the esports scene, the top, whose reserve is only skin-deep.
2. The characters and main game are entirely fictional. Some of the other games they play are based on real ones.
3. The streamer won't become a pro. He'll focus on streaming.
Theme: We have to be champions
Alas, the arena is like this
I feel like the copywriting and the text don't match up. The copywriting makes people feel like they are being chased back and attacked, and Gong may dodge (with complex and ugly expressions), but the relationship between them after meeting is the other way around, and Gong is enthusiastic and dodges.
I want to see them ↑🛏️, can this be said? I feel like it's too short and I haven't seen enough 🐶🌹 [Empty Bowl]
