Dan Heng often wondered whether he had accidentally picked up a kid or adopted a cat.

Before he could figure out the answer, he had to deal with another mess Nephthys had caused. He pressed down on her head and, as practiced as ever, apologized to the red-haired woman in front of them.

"It's all right. It's only a little memory. The one thing I never run out of is stories." The woman didn't seem to mind. "If you still feel bad, how about coming aboard the train? We're retracing the routes we've traveled in the past, and there's so much we need to go through again. We need a guard..."

Her gaze fell on the alien girl standing behind him, and she added meaningfully, "And a record keeper."

1. The main story is told in third person.

2. The pairing is with Dan Heng. She travels with him, recording the scenery of different planets. It has nothing to do with the game's main plot, just an ordinary everyday life together, probably something like a road-trip story.

3. There are major changes based on my own headcanons, severe OOC, a nonsensical timeline, amateur writing, and sudden, wild plot twists. Read at your own risk.
