The Suspended Moon

"I like the moon."

She once said that to her. "Moonlight" was a figurative expression made real.

"You're like the moon in the sky, hanging far away above my heart."

That faint light, like mist and dreams, was enough to hold me captive for my whole life.

Later, her moon got dirty and fell into the dust.

2. Told in fragments. Please note the content warnings.

3. A high school pastime. The writing is a little awkward (all right, more than a little). Don't read if that bothers you! Don't read!
