Can a Little Spider Marry the Great Sage?

The little spider was lucky enough to see the Great Sage once when the Flaming Spider Cave was burned down. One glance, and he was smitten for eternity. He really wanted to have monkey babies with the Great Sage.

Then the gods and immortals fell, and the world collapsed. He knew his chance had come. He captured the injured, amnesiac Great Sage and brought him back to the spider cave as his “wife,” hoping to get him pregnant through a lot of hanky-panky. He never expected the Great Sage to look like the Handsome Monkey King but have such a terrible temper. He showed no respect at all for him, his “husband,” and kept making him cry.

Even after he finally laid three eggs, the Great Sage threatened to boil and eat them. He knew the Great Sage didn’t love him or their children at all. Heartbroken, he had no choice but to file for divorce and take the eggs back to the abyss.

Later, when order was restored to the world, he and his spider-monkey babies struggled to survive in the abyss. But as long as they were together, the family was still happy.

Then suddenly, a monkey appeared and captured him and the babies.

“You stupid spider! The divorce cooling-off period is three hundred years. You think you can get away?”

Reader’s Guide:

1. Pure sweetness, no angst. The little spider is silly and adorable, while the Great Sage is a hot-tempered, tsundere monkey.

2. The Great Sage is the wife, but he’s the top. The little spider is smitten with him, and the Great Sage is domineeringly doting on him.

3. There are more than three babies. There are a ton of them, because, well, they’re spiders, and the desire to have babies is super strong. You know what I mean.

4. A short story with a wild premise. The world collapses at first, with both extreme feudalism and cyber sci-fi, and order is restored later.
