You Call That a Background Character?

This was an utterly absurd world. Aoi Chie had always been sure of that, just as she was utterly sure that she was mentally ill.

As a proper mental patient, self-certified, Aoi Chie had devoted herself since childhood to fitting in with normal people and acting ordinary.

She did a great job, and quite successfully, too. No one would guess that the girl whose grades always hovered around the middle, who quietly listened to everyone's requests, and who gushed over people like an ordinary girl, wasn't quite right in the head.

She thought she'd have to keep pretending forever. Then her supernatural ability went live.

"The Other Me in the Mirror": The person in the mirror is me, and I am the person in the mirror. Every time she looked into a mirror, it was like opening a mystery box and being forced down a new route in life.

Her inexplicable ability dragged her into another completely incomprehensible hidden world, where she met all kinds of strange passersby.

Passerby case one:

The bandage-wearing young man was not only involved with the underworld, but also moonlighted as a demonic boss. Worse still, "she" had a crush on him.

Aoi Chie: I may be pretty sick, but who in their right mind would fall for their boss, who assigns them work?!!

And with my boss's track record, if he's just a passerby, does that mean there are no protagonists in this world?!!

Passerby case two:

A cute kid who looked nothing like her suddenly appeared out of nowhere. She became a mother without pain and even learned to take care of someone.

Aoi Chie: Beep! (expletive). Even if she's crazy, let homework punish her instead of making her randomly become a child trafficker.

And taking care of someone... Hahahaha, she's definitely gone crazy.

No matter how cute the little passerby kid is, this won't do. She's still a child!!!
