The Demonic Cult Leader's Retirement

The Demon Cult Leader, who once stirred up the martial world, has grown tired of a life filled with bloodshed. She hides her identity and runs off to a country town, where she opens a little restaurant and settles down with a sweet, innocent-looking chef she took in on a whim.

One day, the leader's old enemies come knocking. She takes care of them, then heads out to clean up the scene. When she returns, she finds that the seemingly harmless little chef has already tidied up the bodies scattered across the floor. The chef puts away a pouch of corpse-dissolving liquid and all sorts of poisons, then sits at the table and blinks up at her.

"Are you hungry, dear? Shall I go make you a bowl of noodles?"

A light wuxia, farming-life version of Mr. and Mrs. Smith
