From the Start, I Became Akai's Daughter by Faking a Bump

Blurb:

[You] are a beta tester for a full-dive detective game inspired by the world of Detective Conan. Due to the influence of an irresistible supernatural force, you are trapped in the game and can't log out.

Habara Kanade: "..."

She'd only just logged in and hadn't figured out a thing, and now she was trapped in the game?

From the start, a lag spike leaves her stranded in the middle of the road. Watching a car race straight toward her, Habara Kanade can only curse inwardly. What kind of trash game is this? Its performance is so awful.

Then a pink-haired man saves her. Above his head is the tag [Akai XX].

After learning the situation from customer service, Habara Kanade can only wait.

Then, feeling the other person's gaze sizing her up, it takes her a moment to realize something: she'd specially modeled her face after Agent Akai's in the game!

Looking at the thoughtful stare fixed on her, Habara Kanade glances at her completely empty inventory and remembers the elementary school student template she'd chosen. First she panics, then decides to go all in and throws herself into his arms, eyes full of tears, gratitude, and delight.

"Dad, it's really you!"

Akai XX: "???"

Just as her excitement subsides, an ID card slips out of her elementary school uniform.

The name [Habara Kanade] is clearly printed on it, along with the location: XXX Children's Home.

Habara Kanade: "..."

Oh boy.

So she can only look up quietly and meet Akai XX's calm gaze.

They both fall silent.
