The Young Marquis Becomes a Game NPC (Full-Dive Online Game)

[The World's Best Swordsman, a Young Marquis, as the Bottom x Top Assassin and Gaming Pro]

Blurb:

Tianqi Jianghu is a hugely popular, globally acclaimed full-dive online game set in an ancient martial world. Its open-world map and immersive gameplay have drawn countless players.

Song Yuwei is the top-ranked assassin on the game's leaderboard, code-named [Yu]. After triggering a hidden System quest, he must assassinate an NPC, supposedly a young marquis of the former dynasty who now lives in seclusion on Mount Nan.

But when he reaches his destination, the NPC is nowhere to be found.

Fu Zhi is the most treasured young marquis of the dynasty and the greatest swordsman alive. While traveling south to escape the summer heat, he wakes from a nap to find his servant and carriage gone. Everyone around him keeps talking about games, quests, and NPCs.

Fu Zhi: ?

With no other choice, he travels the world while searching for his missing people.

But soon he realizes that something is wrong with this world. Why do the people he kills come back to life, again and again?

Corpses disappear, adopted pets can talk, and passersby keep repeating the same actions.

No matter where he hides, his unkillable enemies find him. Later, he learns that something called "Eagle Eye Tracking" exists.

The people here can also use the magic famed in foreign lands: walls of water appear out of nowhere, fireballs rain through the sky, ice becomes arrows, and written words turn into cages...

And that's not all. A data panel appears before his eyes:

Level: 1

Identity: Young Marquis of the Former Dynasty

Reputation in the Jianghu: Unknown

Jianghu Title: The World's Best Swordsman

Heavenly Ranking: None

HP: 100

MP: 100

The problem is, Fu Zhi feels that he could die.

The instant his HP drops to 1, he clearly senses the approach of death. It's a swordsman's instinct.

So he spends a fortune on a name-change card and finally gets rid of that persistent assassin.

After failing to track down his quest target, Song Yuwei meets a young swordsman on his way back. The two hit it off, and decide to travel together.

"Want to add me as a friend?"

"Sure!"

After successfully adding him as a friend, Fu Zhi pouts. "Yuwei, your 'Yu' is written with that character? Honestly, I hate that character!" Just like that lunatic assassin.

Only later does he learn that it's not just the same character. It's the same person...
