[Introverted Tentacle Monster Bottom VS Smooth-Talking, Domineering Captain Top]
(A couple with many secret identities)
Bo Cheng is a livestreamer who sells products. He's terrible at chatting, but he's good-looking, so he has a few followers who don't actually buy anything.
He doesn't make much money, but he gets by.
At his family's insistence, he went on a blind date and then decided to get married on the spot.
His date was a civil servant with a secure job, five types of social insurance and a housing fund, plus a work-unit apartment.
Bo Cheng was very pleased. Civil servants were great: fixed working hours meant plenty of personal space for him.
Because in addition to being a livestreamer who sold products, he also worked for the Monster Affairs Office. He was a licensed tentacle monster, and his day-to-day job involved handling minor cases where monsters disrupted social harmony.
Of course, he absolutely couldn't let his ordinary human partner find out.
Sikong Hou was sick to death of his family nagging him to get married, so he decided to tie the knot.
His partner was a small-time livestreamer who sold products. He was honest, reserved, and content with his lot in life, which made him exactly the sort of partner Sikong Hou wanted.
As an employee of the Space-Time Administration, Sikong Hou couldn't let outsiders know what he did. He often had to repair rifts in the fabric of space and time,
so a partner who wasn't curious and never asked what time he'd be home was the best choice.
When they went to register their marriage, his partner had only one request:
I want to be there for my great-grandfather's pet, a turtle named Eighth Master, when it passes away!
Sikong Hou: ...It's good to be filial.
But neither of them knew that the turtle had troubles of its own.
Eighth Master, a mind-reading turtle from another world, had been feeling rather troubled lately.
His little master had gotten married, which should have been wonderful. But the organizations his little master and his partner worked for were bitter enemies!
Damn it, should he find a way to let them know?
Disruptions in the space-time continuum and a surge in people with supernatural abilities were seriously affecting public order, and public panic was growing by the day.
The Monster Affairs Office and the Space-Time Administration, long at odds with each other, agreed to put their differences aside and fight their common enemy. Each organization sent its best operative.
Bo Cheng knew this mission wouldn't be easy. Before leaving, he and his beloved said a very heartfelt goodbye.
When they arrived at the mission site, the two directors introduced their subordinates to each other:
"This is Sikong Hou, the strongest fighter in our Space-Time Administration!"
"The Monster Affairs Office has sent our secret weapon, Bo Cheng!"
Secret weapon Bo Cheng stared at the handsome man across from him. Huh? Wasn't that his husband, who'd been in bed with him when he left the house?
His waist, worn out from a long night, was aching faintly.
Strongest fighter Sikong Hou: ...Isn't that my shy, introverted wife?!
