What Should I Do If I've Fallen for My Roommate?

“What would you think if I liked guys?”

A sharp crack rang out as a cup hit the floor and broke in two.

Last night, Chen Suian was “forcefully kissed” by his desk mate and roommate.

The scary part was that his roommate had been drunk, but he hadn’t been!

Even scarier, he’d been moved. He didn’t mind the other guy’s closeness or touch. In fact, he wanted more.

Shen Yutang had secretly loved Chen Suian for a long time and thought he could keep it hidden forever. He never expected a sketchbook to give him away.

He was ready to cut ties with Chen Suian. But when he finally said, “What if I really do like you?” Chen Suian unexpectedly blushed bright red.

Shen Yutang froze.

This seemed to be going better than he’d expected?

Later, they started “sneaking around” and dating behind everyone’s backs.

Roommate: “Why can you two drink from the same cup?”

Chen Suian: “Because we’re close.”

Roommate: “Why can you put your arm around his waist?”

Chen Suian: “Because we’re close.”

Roommate: “Why can you sleep in the same bed?”

Chen Suian: “Because we’re close.”

When their roommate accidentally caught them kissing, he’d learned to guess the answer first. “Is it because you’re close again?”

Chen Suian: “No, because he’s my boyfriend.”

After losing a game, He Younian kept his promise to his friends and went to interview for the student discipline committee.

He fell flat on his face the moment he got onstage. Then he looked up and realized, holy crap, the interviewer was the upperclassman who’d caught him climbing over the school wall that morning!

He thought the other guy would make things difficult for him over that incident, and was ready to walk out halfway through the interview.

But the upperclassman didn’t say a word about it during the interview. Afterward, he even handed He Younian a box of bandages.

Su Yulin: “Looks like you scraped your arm or somewhere. Be careful when you climb the wall next time. Don’t get hurt again.”

He Younian watched him walk away, then looked down at the bandages in his hand, puzzled. Wait, are you actually a really nice guy, senpai?

One day after school, He Younian tucked a pack of cigarettes into his pocket and found a secluded spot to smoke and unwind.

Halfway through a cigarette, he accidentally stumbled upon someone confessing their feelings.

He took a look. Well, well, two guys, and he even knew one of them.

Su Yulin only noticed He Younian after turning down his admirer.

He raised an eyebrow at him, his tone teasing. “What, senpai, do you like guys?”

Su Yulin looked at the lit cigarette in his hand, smiled, and said, “Yeah. And your face happens to be exactly my type.”

On New Year’s Eve, the wind howled. Families gathered around the table for a steaming New Year’s Eve dinner, while firecrackers and fireworks went off together, impossible to tell which was louder.

Su Yulin looked at the guy beside him, who was dead drunk but still insisting on clinging to him, and couldn’t help laughing. “Why are you so clingy?”

He Younian stared at him in silence. After a long while, he said, “Senpai, will you date me? Please? Date me.”

Su Yulin assumed he was drunk and talking nonsense, so he casually agreed. “Sure, as long as you remember what you said once you’re sober.”

He didn’t expect He Younian to come looking for him the next day to claim his “official status.”

He Younian: “Does what I said yesterday still count?”

Su Yulin: “It counts. But I like smart people. If your grades improve, I’ll say yes.”

He Younian fell silent, then immediately turned and opened his book. Fine, I’ll study, okay?!
