When the Galaxy Falls

Under revision.

When Ying Ge met Tan Youshi, she didn’t know who he was. She thought he was poor and wanted to climb the social ladder by getting involved with a rich woman, yet this thoroughly worldly man somehow had an air of aloof integrity.

After they had maintained this kind of relationship for a long time, her family suddenly informed her that she was to marry into the Tan family.

She was to marry Tan Yuanduo, who had been raised in America since childhood. She didn’t know if he was handsome or ugly, fat or thin. Furious, she immediately flew to America to dig up some dirt on her fiancé, hoping to use it to ruin the engagement.

Tan Youshi recalled the first time Ying Ge threw money in his face. She had been radiant and flamboyant, doing whatever she pleased.

It was truly unforgettable.

He loved seeing her look so alluring and seductive, as if she could make people lay everything at her feet. He also loved her adorable, petulant way of acting unreasonable and scolding people with her hands on her hips. But despite his affection for her, one day he learned that her family had arranged a marriage for her. Usually gentle, he lost his temper with her for the first time and demanded, "Him or me?"

Ying Ge narrowed her eyes and smiled. "I’ve never even met him, but you and I..."

She hooked her index finger into his collar. "Haven’t we been together for ages?"

Mini scene: Years later, Ying Ge was vacationing overseas. Beautiful as jade, she had no shortage of men making advances. She slowly took off her sunglasses, looked at the man standing in the distance, and curled her finger at him with a smile.

The man saw her beckon and strode toward her. In a low voice, he said helplessly, "Have you had enough?"

"No."

He swept her up in his arms and said coldly, "Then come home and keep acting up."
