A Limited Summer [Rekindled Romance]

Bittersweet push and pull / rekindled love

Ni Yin and Shen Yanpei parted ways in winter, as heavy snow fell. Shen Yanpei took the ring off his finger and placed it in her palm. He told her to walk her own path from then on, and if she found someone she liked, to treat him seriously, unlike the way she'd been with him.

Ni Yin clenched the ring in her hand and asked, "Have you found someone you like?"

Shen Yanpei gave a soft "Mm."

When Ni Yin left, she broke down sobbing. As she cried, she suddenly fell to her knees. The cold tombstone left her dazed, and she realized she'd hit her head against Shen Yanpei's grave.

She jolted awake to find it had only been a dream.

Shen Yanpei's death was a lie, but his leaving her was real.

Ni Yin x Shen Yanpei.

Rekindled love. Blurb to be added.

Theme: May all lovers find their way to a happy ending
