Making Games Is Better Than Pioneering [Interstellar]

Game developer Xi Tingzhu died suddenly and woke up in the interstellar age, bound to a planet-development System. Several low-grade, garbage planets, all crying out for help, were now in her name.

System: As a planet owner, you must work hard to develop your planets and lead the people out of poverty toward prosperity.

Xi Tingzhu glanced at her balance: ...Empty talk won't help. I'd better make some games first and earn startup capital.

AI dominated this world, and most games on the market were full of greasy art styles, broken characters, ridiculous plots, and high-intensity combat.

Xi Tingzhu took another approach, using the low-grade planets as inspiration to design one relaxing game after another.

For a beastfolk planet with poor, infertile soil, she released:

The idle farming game Fluffy Farm Life, the match-three game Panda Restaurant, the card-collecting game Summoning and Evolution, the exploration game A Cat's Adventure...

For a water planet where tourists couldn't land, she released:

The AR fishing game Once Upon a Time, There Was an Angler, the sports game Surfing Star, the star-raising game The Mermaid's Road to Stardom, the romance game Love in Water...

For a wasteland planet stripped of its resources, she released:

The role-playing game When Neon Flickers, the resource-management game Wasteland Planet, the survival game Cyber Survival Guide, the tower-defense game Wasteland Shelter...

Xi Tingzhu used every cent she earned from these games to reinvest in the garbage planets.

At first, interstellar residents thought these little games were a fun and refreshing change.

Later, when their wallets were empty and they had no choice but to switch on sleep mode so they could grind all day and all night, they finally realized something was wrong.

Aren't these supposed to be casual games?! What's casual about them?!

The various game companies went from dismissing them to frantically copying them. But they never expected those games to be deeply integrated with real-life vacation planets.

Level up and receive planet-branded gifts from the game company. Get personalized video greetings from real-life NPCs during holidays. Make it onto the event leaderboard and win a free vacation on the planet...

They're just a shabby game company. How could they compete with a planet owner!

Message: Don't panic when you find yourself in a difficult situation. Life will find its own direction!
