High Martial: A Blasphemy Card from the Start

Worlds overlap, planes intersect, and otherworldly forces invade.

The people of Blue Star paid a terrible price to open the path to evolution and ascension, yet in over a century, not a single attempt has succeeded.

At the age of eighteen, during the awakening ceremony, the reborn protagonist awakens once more to an A-rank class from the mystical side: [Chosen of the Gods]

The Chosen of the Gods are the lucky ones selected by the gods.

They hear the gods' voices, serve at their side, and pray for the tiniest scraps of divine grace.

[Gods?

Gods don't save mortals. Gods don't love mortals.

I don't believe in gods, and I don't worship them, so... I choose to blaspheme!]

His powerful spiritual energy breaks through his soul. His shattered soul breaks apart once more, then reforms.

When he opens his eyes again, his class has changed: [Chosen of the Gods (Blasphemer)]

He smiles brightly. "That's more like it~"

Among Blue Star's newest generation of Awakened, there appears a flawless [Chosen of the Gods].

He is gentle. He is powerful. He seems to love humanity just like a god.

He is everyone's light.

"With him on our side, Blue Star is sure to pass the divine ascension trial this time."

"Blue Star is saved!"

After weathering countless trials on their ascension mission, the protagonist's team reaches the final altar.

Beneath a vast halo of divinity, the protagonist smiles as he holds the crown.

All he has to do is cast it into the altar, and the divine ascension mission will be complete.

But with a crack, the protagonist crushes the crown.

The phantom of a god flies into a rage!

The protagonist flashes a demonic grin. "I'm no boring Chosen of the Gods."

As he speaks, the Blasphemy card circles around him. Arrogance and malice force even the lofty gods to bow their heads in submission.

The protagonist picks up a card and kisses it. "Shh. I'm a Blasphemer."

And so, the gods fell.
