My new neighboring novel, "The Prince Regent’s Easygoing Husband", is now open for reading! When Cheng Jinnian was eighteen, he found an abandoned baby in the snow. He and his boyfriend, Song Hao, discussed it. We’re keeping him! It was the 1990s, when gay couples couldn’t get married and were shunned by everyone. The two boys were dating in secret, and they were about to face a long-distance relationship. Cheng Jinnian was clever and handsome, and about to start university in another province. Song Hao was hopelessly in love with Cheng Jinnian. “I’ll take Cheng SongSong with me and find work. The three of us will stay together.” “…Why does he have my surname? Weren’t we going to name him Song Chengcheng?” Song Hao: The kid has to take my sweetheart’s surname if I want him to stay by my side! - When Cheng SongSong was two and a half, his family owned a biscuit factory called Nian Nian Biscuit Factory. When their ads started airing on TV, Cheng SongSong could recite them even while riding in his little tricycle. “Nian Nian sends you good wishes~” “Nian Nian brings you good cheer~” “Nian Nian brings you peace~” “Eat Nian Nian biscuits, and make a fortune every year!” Cheng SongSong munched on his biscuits and proudly shouted, “My dad is the Biscuit King!” - The novel will be serialized starting tomorrow, 2025-11-15! A slice-of-life story about all the little things, told like a running diary! The child isn’t adopted in the usual sense: they really did find him. The story does include male pregnancy, but the main couple aren’t the ones having the baby!!! Spoiler: SongSong’s biological father has a baby later in the story, which is why I tagged it.
