*Second Prison is complete.
*Daily updates when there's a ranking event, every other day otherwise. If there's no update, the silly author forgot again (but it'll be made up!).
Wen Yuan opened her eyes. She was standing in front of a huge black building.
It was so enormous she couldn't see the top. It blended into the black sky, with clusters of red lights flashing now and then in the darkness like a ferocious beast lying in wait.
Behind her was nothing but murky haze. When she turned around, black mist billowed all the way to the horizon.
Wen Yuan entered the building. A huge, snow-white, unidentified beast lunged straight at her. It stood towering before her, lowered its enormous head, and roared at the girl, its deafening bellow shaking the air.
Wen Yuan looked up at its eyes without a hint of emotion. The beast hesitated for a moment, then opened its mouth wide as if it were about to swallow her whole.
The girl stood perfectly still, as though she'd been scared senseless. In an instant, a man appeared and shouted at the beast.
The beast gradually shrank, turning into a soft, docile little white cat that rubbed against the man's feet.
The man looked apologetic and spoke gently. "Sorry about that. It didn't get enough to eat at lunch."
The fourth eye on his face slowly blinked. The girl paid it no mind and continued farther into the building.
A one-eyed human, an unidentified creature with seven claws, and a green plant that could speak in a child's voice all passed by her one after another.
Wen Yuan kept her face blank. After a while, she finally followed the directions to the first room.
She knocked. Three seconds later, the door slowly opened.
The person inside sat behind a desk, holding a newspaper up to hide his face. He lazily addressed the open doorway. "Lost and found is next door."
Wen Yuan: "..."
When he got no answer, the man peered over the newspaper.
Their eyes met. He suddenly smiled, slow and easy, and said in a teasing tone, "Oh? We have a newcomer?"

The Tenth Prison is the darkest place in the entire interstellar world.
It is shrouded in darkness all year round, and its cells are filled with the most vicious monsters in the galaxy.
A hundred years ago, monsters escaped from the Tenth Prison. The prison's administrator sacrificed all of their life force to imprison the monsters in parallel spaces within the Tenth Prison.
To capture monsters in the various parallel spaces, the Tenth Prison began recruiting ability users.
Then, one day, a girl who seemed to come from nowhere stepped through the gates of the Tenth Prison.
And the story began anew.
Tips:
1. The female lead speaks little, is ruthless, and unconsciously shows off. She's the strongest from the very start, and if she gets serious, the boss is guaranteed to die.
2. This is entirely fictional, and the worldbuilding is made up. Please don't overthink it.
3. My writing skills are limited, and I'm still learning. I hope you enjoy reading. If you don't, please feel free to stop reading!
Please add my upcoming story, She's No Ordinary Vampire, to your favorites!
By the time the people claiming to be from the Apocalypse Research Institute came knocking, Jiang Yusu had already been suffering from a poor appetite for a week after turning into a vampire.
Her hunger made her vision swim, and her stomach churned and cramped until her face was pale. Still, she sat by the window with a sour expression, watching several people who clearly didn't belong in her cheap rental apartment.
The senior officer in a black uniform had a cool, handsome face. He finished speaking in an even voice, but got no response.
Pei Zhi lowered his eyes and repeated himself in a cold voice. This time, the woman looked up and glanced at him without a hint of warmth.
"You'll agree to any terms? Then what if I want your blood?"
The officer's expression went numb. He turned and left without hesitation.

The apocalypse arrived, the world's landmasses fractured, and terrifying phenomena of varying severity erupted across the globe.
The Apocalypse Research Institute's preparations, made years in advance, proved utterly inadequate when the apocalypse finally came.
To salvage the situation, the Institute began searching worldwide for soldiers who had awakened psychic powers after the apocalypse.
With the Institute's help, the soldiers entered fractured spaces and restored them to normal.
At first, Jiang Yusu only wanted a steady blood supply to keep the damn vampire factor in her body under control.
Later, she decided that taking over the Institute wasn't out of the question either.
*
After the apocalypse, the Apocalypse Research Institute became the whole world's lifeline. Every move it made sparked countless rumors and panic.
Terrified that the mistakes made during the preparations would come to light, the director nervously arranged for Jiang Yusu to enter a fractured space, but she kept leading him on a merry chase at every turn.
The black-haired woman stood in front of a massive machine, looking at the group of people on the other side of the projection. She asked casually, "This is it?"
The director wiped away his sweat. "That's right. Just destroy it, and don't let anyone find out."
The woman's lips curled into a meaningful smile. "Then do something to make me happy first."
Outside the projection, everyone's gaze turned toward the senior officer standing at the front of the screen with a cold expression.
"..."
The man was sent in. In the next instant, Pei Zhi's wrist was clasped in her hand.
He had already undone the top two buttons of his uniform himself.
He turned his face away from Jiang Yusu, refusing to look at her, but his fingers clutched the hem of her uniform. His pale, cool cheeks flushed pink as he bared his vulnerable neck to Jiang Yusu and urged her in a hoarse voice.
"...Hurry up."
Theme: Rekindling an old relationship.
I'm too busy and don't have time to calm down and revise the article (take another day off www) and give a double update to the little ones tomorrow ~ 😳
[Spreading flowers][Spreading flowers] This expression is so cute!! Let's get down to business (clearing throat) that...😳😳 Pre-collection of "She's No Ordinary Vampire", please collect it~[Spread flowers] When the group of people who claimed to be from the Doomsday Research Institute came to the door, Jiang Yusu had already lost his appetite for a week because he had become a vampire. Her eyes were dizzy with hunger, and her stomach was churning and convulsing, causing her face to turn pale, but she still sat by the window with a stinky face, looking at a few people who were obviously incompatible with her cheap rental house. The senior officer wearing a black uniform had a cold face and finished speaking quietly, but received no response. Pei Zhi lowered his eyes and repeated it in a cold voice. This time, the woman raised her eyes and glanced at him. "All conditions are met? Then, what if I want your blood?" The officer's expression was numb, and he turned around and left without hesitation. The end of the world is approaching, the world's tectonic plates are fissuring, and horrific scenes of varying degrees have erupted one after another in various places. The preparations made by the Doomsday Research Institute many years ago became vulnerable when the end of the world officially arrived. In order to save everything, the institute searched all over the world for soldiers who had inspired spiritual power after the apocalypse. The soldiers who enter the fission space will restore the fission space to normal with the cooperation of the research institute. At first, Jiang Yusu just wanted to find a regular blood supply source to stabilize the damn blood-sucking factor in her body. Later, she felt that it was not impossible to win the institute. After the end of the world, the Institute of Doomsday has become a lifesaver for the whole world, and every move will trigger countless speculations and panic. Afraid that the mistakes in the preparation stage would be exposed, the dean cautiously arranged for Jiang Yusu to enter the fission space, but she kept slipping away every moment. The black-haired woman stood in front of the huge machine and casually asked the group of people on the other side of the projection: "Is this it?" The dean wiped his sweat and said, "Yes, just destroy it and don't get discovered." The woman's lips curved into a smile, meaningfully: "Then, do something first to make me happy." Outside the projection, a group of people looked at the senior military officer standing at the front of the screen with a cold face. The person was sent in, and the next moment Pei Zhi's wrist was held. The top two buttons of the uniform have been unbuttoned by the man himself. He turned his face away from Jiang Yusu, but his fingers tightly grasped the hem of the woman's uniform. His cold white cheeks were stained with crimson, and he put his fragile neck in front of Jiang Yusu, urging in a mute voice. "... Hurry up." Collection of boots and boots~[Spread flowers][Spread flowers]
