Saving the World Online in a Bungou Stray Dogs Secret Identity

Everyone knows that a main world has countless similar parallel worlds. In one such parallel world, every important character except Dazai Osamu has gone offline, and the world is on the verge of collapse.

A Shi, the consciousness of this parallel world, is about to die because the important characters have disappeared for unknown reasons. To save herself, she has no choice but to split her consciousness into countless pieces and begin a life of playing the missing characters while wearing countless secret identities...

At first, A Shi only needs to "borrow" the character profiles and plotlines of important figures from the main world and follow the script. Aside from having to keep an eye on the sole protagonist, Dazai Osamu, the work of saving the world goes smoothly and easily.

Since all the secret identities A Shi plays are ultimately the same person, they follow the plot in perfect harmony and understand one another without a hitch. Just when A Shi thinks she can fool the world's rules, follow the plot to the end, build up her strength, and save herself, the unexpected happens.

The world barrier suddenly breaks!!

A Shi: "..."

First, [Nakahara Chuuya] from the main world drops into the middle of the coup staged by the Mori Ougai she is playing, startling A Shi out of her wits.

Just as A Shi finally manages to send [Nakahara Chuuya] back and is about to celebrate, along comes another [Mori Ougai].

"..."

Meeting [Mori Ougai]'s eyes, A Shi breaks down inside: Aaaah!!! Is the world barrier made of paper or what?!!

Then the world barrier tells A Shi that it really is made of paper!

[Dazai Osamu], [Edogawa Ranpo], [Fyodor]... One after another, they all drop into A Shi's world.
