Legend has it that Liyue was once home to an ancient clan: the merfolk. They were beautiful, with sharp webbed claws and sturdy scales. Bloodthirsty and warlike, they also possessed recovery and combat abilities beyond those of ordinary people.

But the most astonishing thing of all was the rumor everyone passed around: supposedly, eating merfolk flesh could grant you eternal youth and immortality.

Of course, half of what people say is lies. Besides, the merfolk vanished long ago in the currents of history. There’s no way to confirm the rumor, and even if you could, it wouldn’t make a difference.

“I want to skip work,” she said, pressing her palms together.
