Raising a Snake Brings Trouble

[Sunny, honest, stuttering Shou X aloof, tsundere snake Gong]

Cheng Can is a little stutterer living in another world. Besides people like him, this world is also home to the Inhumans.

Inhumans are people evolved from animals. Their condition is unstable, and they periodically turn back into their original forms to recover their energy.

Inhumans have low status. Once their identities are exposed, they must be taken into custody at the Inhuman Center, where many meet untimely deaths.

To stay alive, Inhumans invented a special medicine that lets them remain in human form for longer, though taking too much can shorten their lifespan.

As it happens, Cheng Can discovers that he was born with the ability to identify Inhumans, but he keeps it to himself. Then one day, a black snake slips into his home and bites him. After that, the snake seems to have taken a liking to him.

When Cheng Can takes a shower: "Could you go outside...?"

When Cheng Can goes to bed: "Don't crawl between my thighs..."

Besides that, the snake also has a little habit of licking people...

Cheng Can thinks it's just an ordinary animal and kindly takes it in. But after the snake has seen everything, he eventually discovers that it's none other than his direct superior, Xue Bohuai!
