After much agonizing thought, Yun Xi decided to keep the baby.

Jiang Yuequn's most reliable assistant had resigned.

He held out for over a month before finally swallowing his pride and going to look for him. But his assistant seemed to have vanished off the face of the earth. He couldn't find him by phone, on WeChat, or even back in his hometown.

With no other choice, Jiang Yuequn brought out his money power and hired a private detective. A month later, he finally found his assistant's address.

He went straight over to drag him back, ready to tempt him with a high salary to return to being his workhorse. But when the door opened, Jiang Yuequn saw that his assistant was heavily pregnant.

Jiang Yuequn was very troubled by the fact that his male assistant was pregnant.

Naturally, this was because he couldn't come back to work immediately, though that didn't seem to be the whole story... As it happened, Yun Xi sprained his ankle, and Jiang Yuequn used that as an excuse to move in with him under the pretext of taking care of him. After spending some time together, Jiang Yuequn realized his feelings for Yun Xi might not be entirely pure...

Jiang Yuequn never knew who the father of Yun Xi's child was. But as the child was born and grew up, he kept hearing people say things like, "Doesn't that kid look exactly like you?" Jiang Yuequn began to have his doubts.

He secretly got a DNA test behind everyone's back. Damn, it really was my kid!
