What a Coincidence, You're Here for a Blind Date Too?

[Handsome, sunny, cheerful, and a little oblivious bottom x uptight, quiet, but secretly clingy top]

Lin Simian became an associate professor at one of the country's top universities while still young. He was not only handsome, but also had a genuinely wonderful personality. There was just one thing that had Lin's mother worrying herself gray.

Her son liked men.

It took her a little while to accept the fact, and then she began looking forward to welcoming a "son-in-law." But her son was nearing thirty, and his love life still hadn't made any progress.

Worried, Lin's mother decided she had to take charge of her son's future.

Just when Lin Simian finally had some time off, Ms. Lin assigned him a difficult task: a matchmaking date.

After his previous experiences, Lin Simian had no expectations for anyone Ms. Lin introduced him to. He didn't even look at the photo, and planned to go have a meal the next day just to humor her.

The next day, following the address Ms. Lin had given him, Lin Simian arrived at the restaurant right on time. Before he could find his seat, he spotted Dr. Li, whom he'd met a few days earlier. Ms. Lin had been rushed to the ER recently, and Dr. Li had been the surgeon who operated on his mother.

As his mother's "savior," Dr. Li deserved a greeting, so Lin Simian went over first.

"Good afternoon, Dr. Li. What are you doing here?"

"..." Dr. Li fell silent, then finally replied, "I'm here for a blind date."

"No way!" Lin Simian still hadn't realized anything was amiss. He just found it incredible that someone like Dr. Li would need to go on blind dates. "What a coincidence! I'm here for one too."

Dr. Li remained expressionless. "I know."

Lin Simian: "?"

"I'm your blind date."
