Major General, Wishing on Her Comes at a Price

[This might turn into a beast-world-style story, with female and male beasts and all that. Our true dragon goddess can fit in with any beastfolk setting.]

Dragon girl Nan Jin slept for three hundred years. When she woke up, she was hit with a crushing sense of despair.

Almost all her followers and kin had vanished.

Bad news: She's the last dragon in the clan.

Good news: Everyone, the streamer has painlessly leveled up to Dragon King!

Even worse news: Her home planet has entered the interstellar age. Humans can summon wind and rain on their own, and travel to the heavens and earth. She's become a mist.

Better news: None.

Newly crowned Dragon King Nan Jin can't accept reality. She has to find a time machine and transmigrate back to the past.

Following her nose, she digs through a mountain of trash on a garbage planet and finds what may be her only follower, along with a tattered water-and-land painting stuffed into his wound to plug it. The follower is covered in rags, with barely a patch of uninjured skin, and in the painting she sees herself, fanged and green-faced, grinning at her.

Nan Jin plans to have her filthy little follower provide for her and find her a time machine while he's at it.

"Praying to a god for power comes at a price." Beneath the bright moon, she says this to the major general, who is at death's door.

The major general is pale. "W-what price?"

Nan Jin licks her lips, so hungry that she's practically drooling. "Worship me and feed me."

The major general stiffens. Then he looks her up and down with his beautiful eyes. "Are you a respectable god?"

Before Nan Jin can answer, he lets out a chilling, brazen laugh. "You've seen my situation. The only thing I have left to bargain with is myself. If you want me, take me."

Nan Jin: "?"

She's the mighty Dragon King returned, and all she gets to eat is a filthy little cabbage? She refuses!

But she has no room to be picky.

She's the only dragon left in the entire interstellar universe, and this is her only source of food.

Even a dirty little cabbage can be washed and eaten.

The returned Dragon King wants to reclaim everything that belongs to her, but can't keep up with the times, cheerful heroine X Ambitious, scheming, fair-skinned and handsome hero who can be put to use once he's cleaned up
