After Being Mistaken for a Mermaid, I Got Together with the Obsessive Villain

Qiu Shu is a sea demon, and a lazy one at that. While the rest of his people are out hunting, he lies on his back in the water, basking in the sun. He never expected to be swept into the interstellar world by a deep-sea whirlpool.

In the interstellar world, there are two races: humans and merfolk. Humans drain their mental energy to fight the Zerg, while merfolk can heal damage to mental energy.

As a result, merfolk have become humanity's most sought-after partners.

Mistaken for a merperson, Qiu Shu is taken to a merfolk nursery while unconscious.

Then he discovers that he has transmigrated into a book he has read!

The obsessive, great villain is so vicious that, when the merfolk he has waited ten years to be matched with rejects him, the beautiful little merperson marries the Imperial Crown Prince instead.

Without a merperson, the obsessive villain won't live more than three years...

Faced with this cruel fate, the obsessive villain turns evil and becomes the mastermind, tormenting the Crown Prince and the little merperson until they nearly fail to get their happy ending.

Qiu Shu: ...

Seriously?

You're telling me that the guy who's obsessed with washing my tail with a little brush is the great villain?

Qiu Shu decides to treat the villain's illness using pearls given to him by a merfolk friend.

But to stop the great villain from pestering him endlessly, he lies and says:

The pearls are made from his tears, and a sea demon can cry only ten times in their entire life.

After the tenth time, he'll die!

To heal the villain's mental energy, Qiu Shu uses nine pearls.

On the day the Zerg swarm attacks, Qiu Shu and the protagonist, a little merperson, are captured at the same time. The Imperial Army chooses to rescue the Crown Prince's merfolk partner, leaving Qiu Shu to be taken by the Zerg.

Just as the great villain arrives, Qiu Shu sheds his tenth tear...

In Imperial Year 3305, the former marshal, now with his mental energy completely destroyed, returns as a king, raises the banner of rebellion, and wipes out the Zerg...

Qiu Shu: Damn! The Zerg are so ugly, they made me cry.
