I Became a Saint as a Director in the Interstellar Era

Mu Han was an actor from humble beginnings. At just twenty-five, he won the Best Actor award, but was blacklisted after refusing to follow the wishes of the capitalists.

After years of setbacks, he finally got a chance to make a comeback at thirty, only to be run over and killed by an obsessive fan of his rival. When he opened his eyes, he had transmigrated to the interstellar era.

In this age, during the two thousand years since humanity lost contact with its home planet, humans spent the first thousand years being colonized and driven to the bottom of the universe, then exploded with growth during the next thousand years and climbed to its peak.

When they finally decided to develop their cultural influence, they discovered that they had completely forgotten the culture of their home planet...

AI stars were all the rage, and entertainment was incredibly crude.

The people of the interstellar era had the most dazzling technology, yet produced the shoddiest works in the entire universe.

They were known throughout the universe as a cultural backwater.

A vast, untapped market opened up before Mu Han, and a blazing fire reignited in his heart.

This time, he would no longer be an actor at the mercy of others on stage. He would become the director behind the scenes, in control of everything!

Everyone told Zuo Yu that the age of live-action actors was over, and that this was the era of AI stars!

But Zuo Yu refused to believe it. Day after day, he threw himself into one awful production after another, playing all sorts of roles, all for a chance to make it big.

Unfortunately, he played corpses, anonymous passersby, revolting comic foils, and stand-ins for AI actors, yet no one remembered him.

People remembered and adored only one glamorous AI actor after another. Zuo Yu was lost...

When he plunged into a mud pit yet again and wiped the muddy water from his face, he was told that the role he had fought so hard to get had been given to an AI actor instead. He felt as if he had been shattered completely...

Just then, a handsome man with refined features approached him and held out a hand. "Would you like to be the leading man in my film?"

The fire in Zuo Yu's heart blazed to life once more!

In this strange new world, where I have no one, you are my eternal muse and anchor.
