Falling in Love with the Demon of Hunger

[Aaaaaah, Tatsuki Fujimoto's plot stabbed me in the back. Kiga is the Death Devil and has been using the name of the Famine Devil. (A backstab on April Fools' Day, 2025.)]

[This story pairs Kiga with a woman. It's yuri.]

[She's so beautiful, I want to write fanfic about her.]

[Complete. Thank you for your support!]

I have a childhood friend who often gets hungry and is unusually obsessed with food.

She has a huge appetite and can eat a lot.

Compared to her, I have a bird's appetite.

She's passionate about searching for places where food is stored, then eating whatever catches her eye.

Most of my memories of good food involve her.

It's not that I share delicious food with her. Rather, I watch as she savors the food she insisted on scavenging from me.

Sometimes, she'll offer to share her food with me.

At those times, I'm not overjoyed and moved that she finally cherishes our friendship. I'm a little nervous, because she usually wants something in return.

"Here, have this. Then let me cuddle you while I sleep for a bit."

"Making you a chess piece would be too much trouble, so you'll be my blanket instead."

I looked at the pizza she held out to me and instinctively wondered if she was trying to bribe me.

Wait, wasn't that my food?!

I was about to say something when Kiga shoved the pizza into my mouth.

"Objection denied!"

"..."

Kiga is the most awful person in the world. No exceptions.

*

Kiga has a good friend she's known since childhood, Yuka Habuya.

The other girl has eyes and hair like honey, and she smells like food. The moment Kiga laid eyes on her, she decided to make her a human-shaped snack who could recharge her and ease her hunger.

It turned out she'd made the right choice.

Yuka really did help ease her hunger. She bought her food and cooked for her, too. Kiga was very pleased.

Her satisfaction lasted only until someone confessed to Yuka.

Human emotions really were getting in her way.

If Yuka were taken from her, she'd be hungry forever.

So, to prevent that from happening, she would make Yuka hers.

No one can take food from the Famine Devil.
