But everyone noticed that in every overlapping zone they entered, they'd always run into a woman rummaging through trash. They all thought she was crazy. Why pick up heaps of scrap metal instead of perfectly good crystals? Then a second large-scale wave of overlapping zones appeared, and anomalies invaded human territory with unstoppable force. The woman who scavenged trash suddenly appeared. Her body was covered in steel. A wave of her hand unleashed countless beams of light and artillery fire, and she could fly through the sky and burrow through the earth.
