The cat card's origins are unknown, and it possesses strange abilities. She has never let her guard down around it.
But with the Federation in crisis, she can work with it for the time being.
Once all the creatures from the other realm have been driven back, she'll go her separate way.
She thinks things will surely go according to plan, until one day a handsome young man with long golden hair appears beside her. His long lashes hide the darkness in his eyes as he takes her hand and smiles:
"I owe you my life, so I'll give you mine. I'm here to repay you. If you leave me behind again, I'll die right in front of you. :)"

Later, Xie Ran leads her students in fighting monsters and powering up. Only after driving every creature from the other realm out of the Federation does she suddenly remember something:
It seems they've never considered who the big boss behind these creatures might be.
Suspicious eyes turn once more toward the handsome young man with strange abilities. He lowers his eyes and kneels by her legs, looking utterly pitiful:
"They all suspect me. Are you going to be just like them and send me to the execution platform too?"
Xie Ran feels a warmth in her heart and pulls him behind her, facing the room full of doubtful stares:
"I'm protecting him. Who dares lay a hand on him?"

I've finished reading this. It's hard to find this type of second dimension novel. It's very interesting.
