(Battle Through the Heavens X Ashes of Love) After I Started Raising Paper Characters

*

One day, Xiao Yan discovered a wondrous mirror in the Xiao Clan's storeroom. When it activated, it proved unlike anything from the Dou Qi Continent, connecting instead to... a character-raising game from another world?

...Is this really something that should exist on the Dou Qi Continent? So I'm not the only one who transmigrated?

Even so, curiosity got the better of him, and when he opened the app, he saw that the little white dragon in the "game" was so cute and pitiful that Xiao Yan couldn't help devoting himself to completing quests and taking care of it. His daily routine was to cultivate, train, and level up, then look after the little one in the water mirror during his free time to relax.

It's just grinding and spending money, right? He can learn to manage his time. Besides, everyone knows that alchemists are the richest people around!

At first, it was just a way to pass the time. Somehow, though, the longer he cared for it, the more attached he became.

Xiao Yan swiped across the water mirror and mused, "Teacher, I remember you said that Dou Zuns can freely use spatial energy and travel through space..."

Yao Chen: "...Though it's true that anyone with a dream is remarkable, I still recommend you think this over."

Run Yu discovered that strange things would happen around him from time to time.

When he was hungry, roasted meat and spirit fruits would appear. When he was injured, his wounds would be bandaged and he would be fed pills. The fish that bullied him would be dealt with by an invisible force. Sometimes, novel little trinkets would appear to cheer him up. Even when he fell asleep, he could feel someone gently stroking his head.

Because of this, when he was little, he always believed there were immortals in the world, and that he was a lucky little fish favored by one. But later, he was no longer a fish, and he himself became an "immortal." He looked all around, yet still couldn't find the unknown deity.

If there really is an "immortal"...

he thought.

---Whoever you are, I really want to meet you.

*They're both underage, and time flows at different rates in the two worlds.
