After I Led My Sickly Childhood Friend Astray

[Stiff, clueless straight guy top x charming, refined, flirtatious bottom]

When Zhou Song was eight, he found a sickly little boy named Jiang Jiu'an in an urban village and took him in. He raised him for twenty years.

When they grew up, the sickly little boy became a psychology instructor at a university. With his beautiful, flirtatious eyes, he charmed people wherever he went and left a trail of admirers behind him.

Meanwhile, Zhou Song followed in his father's footsteps, got into the police academy, and became the captain of the criminal investigation squad at Lucheng City Police Bureau. He was impartial and iron-fisted, and his word was law.

Their personalities were worlds apart. Zhou Song disliked Jiang Jiu'an's attitude toward life, and whenever they met, they argued so fiercely that the whole world seemed to shake. They were nothing like the close friends they had been as children.

Just as Zhou Song thought his connection with Jiang Jiu'an would amount to nothing more than their monthly family dinners, he ran into him one rainy night at a crime scene.

His beautiful, frail childhood friend was the sole witness. His face was pale, his pretty eyes full of fear, and his long, fair fingers gripped a glass so tightly he looked like a porcelain figurine ready to shatter at any moment.

Jiang Jiu'an tugged gently at Zhou Song's clothes and whispered,

"Ge, I'm scared."

A murder case tied Zhou Song and Jiang Jiu'an together like two grasshoppers on the same rope.

As their relationship slowly began to mend, Zhou Song realized that his childhood friend seemed to have countless secrets. He wasn't nearly as spoiled and debauched as he made himself out to be.

Jiang Jiu'an seemed well-versed in criminal psychology and had impeccable logic. Whenever Zhou Song hit a dead end, Jiang Jiu'an always gave him a hint.

Just as Zhou Song realized he was starting to depend on Jiang Jiu'an's help, Jiang Jiu'an suddenly disappeared without a word, leaving not even a single message behind.

When they met again, flames blazed behind Jiang Jiu'an. His usually smiling eyes were bloodshot, and tears slid down his cheeks as he raised the gun in his hand toward Zhou Song.

As the bullet whistled through the air, Zhou Song saw Jiang Jiu'an's lips move, as if he were whispering,

"Ge, I'm sorry."

"I love you."

Tips:

1. Two strong leads, a crime investigation story, and a completely fictional setting.

2. I want to write a long one this time =v=

3. The story may have a little more of the bottom's perspective, so the bottom is the lead. We'll see how it goes.

4. This time, I'm trying an older top who raises his younger childhood friend.

5. I'll add more if I think of anything.

Theme: Relationships between people need sincerity.
