After my family doctor told me when I was going to die, God gave me a chance to save myself. All I had to do was get a man named Akutagawa Ryunosuke to fall in love with a robot.

Me: ???

Shouldn't I normally have to make him fall in love with me? What does getting him to love a robot even mean?

God said true love shouldn't be limited by species.

If he loves you, he'll love you even if you're a robot. If he doesn't, he'll treat you like you're not even there, no matter how beautiful you are.

I couldn't argue with that. Thankfully, the so-called robot wasn't just a few pieces of metal like I'd imagined. I could even customize its appearance.

I set the robot's height to 175 centimeters and gave it a sexy, mature look. Then I met Ryunosuke and learned that he wasn't 175 centimeters tall.

Well... Maybe he'd fall in love with a woman taller than him.

After he tore me to shreds for the Nth time without mercy, I confirmed that he wasn't into beautiful, mature women.

Excerpt:

Ryunosuke has a terrible tolerance for alcohol, but I love that about him.

When the droopy-eared bunny gets drunk, he sits quietly by himself and cries, nothing like his usual nasty self.

So I often sneak alcohol into his soup.

Later, I got caught.

But I'm a robot. There's nothing he can do to me!

That is, until he pinned me down on the bed, now human, and poured alcohol down my throat. Watching the red wine soak through my pure white camisole, I finally realized how serious things had gotten.

Excerpt:

Dates with Ryunosuke are always one disaster after another.

I whispered in his ear, and he went limp in my arms.

We read together, and he slept more soundly than anyone.

We went for a walk, and he managed to lose me in ten minutes. When he found me later, he didn't show the slightest remorse.

But so what? I love my droopy-eared bunny with his sparse eyebrows and curled lashes more than anything!
