Yagyu Hotaru is a shut-in who likes to stay up all night gaming, lie around like a corpse, and avoid the sun.

Her older brother is always telling her to get out and socialize, but a low-energy lifestyle is her creed. Her dream is to become like Tanaka-kun: weak and lazy, looked after by a guy who dotes on her, and able to stay home without lifting a finger.

One day, her doting caretakers barged into her home like burglars.

To stay alive, and bearing wounds that could never be healed, Yagyu Hotaru became a sorcerer. Her technique was [Transform, Magical Girl].

Her life came to a complete end the moment she shouted, "Puli puli! Shining and sparkling, super sparkly! I'll capture your heart!" and transformed into a magical girl to fight a super-gross giant monster.

Taking missions only at night is the last shred of dignity Yagyu Hotaru has as a shut-in.

One day, as usual, she recited those mortifying, magical little incantations, punched a curse flat, and finished up, ready to go home and lie around.

Behind her came a "Click!"

She turned around in disbelief and locked eyes with the fox-like boy behind her, phone raised.

Yagyu Hotaru: "?"

Why was he holding up his phone? Wait, hadn't there just been a click? This had to be a joke. Her curtain was right there, wasn't it? Where was it?!!

Under the moonlight, the boy's short silver-white hair swayed gently. He looked at her, his narrow eyes blinking softly, like a sly fox. "Puri! I got a really interesting shot, Magical Girl!"

A silly comedy, as always featuring a little sister and a bunch of brothers. The love interest is Niou, and there will be lots of one-sided crushes.

The little sister is a gaming shut-in who just wants to stay home, eat, and wait for death.

Technique details: an extremely embarrassing transformation, plus a few magical little incantations. While she chants, she can't be interrupted and has maxed-out invincibility buffs. As long as she gives up all dignity, even Gojo can't do anything about her.

About the cover: this is the heroine after transforming. Since she turns into a magical girl, the art style gets weird too.

An aside: Niou's pretty popular, so why don't I see many romance stories about him? It's strange. I'm a little nervous people might not be into this sort of thing.
