[Harry Potter] What Should a Combat Prodigy Do If They Want to Pursue Research?

Hilda Prewett is a born warrior, and her talent for learning spells is nothing short of genius. During Charms at Hogwarts, Professor Flitwick practically treats her like his own daughter. He loves calling her up to demonstrate, as if to prove that learning spells is actually easy.

Because of this, everyone at school assumes that Hilda, so gifted at spells, must be a warmonger.

What no one knows is that Hilda, Gryffindor's spellcasting genius, doesn't like fighting. More than anything, she wants to become an excellent alchemist like her father.

She has no talent for it whatsoever, but she believes hard work can overcome any obstacle.

Barty Crouch Jr. always feels that his childhood consists of little more than his mother's presence. In his father's eyes, work will always matter more than family. He envies his neighbor Prewett, whose father always dotes on her and buys her anything she wants. And what about him?

Hah. His father never even has time to play with him. Home feels like nothing more than a place to sleep.

After he starts school, his father does stop ignoring him, but only because he begins treating him like a project and a topic of conversation among his colleagues. He is always harsh with him, as if Barty were the son of an enemy, and never thinks he is good enough.

But he really has done his best.

When Barty Crouch Jr. is an adult and looks at his girlfriend, he feels a little dazed. If he hadn't lived next door to Prewett back then, perhaps he really would have joined the Death Eaters instead of becoming a doctor who saves lives.

What could go better together than a doctor and an Auror?
