[Genshin Impact] Reincarnated as an Immortal, but My Household Registration Is in Sumeru

When you wake up from a nap, you discover you've been sold.

Good news: The person who bought you is a kind, benevolent old woman.

Bad news: You're now a fish the old woman brought home, and you don't know whether you're meant to be a pet or dinner.

Fortunately, every cloud has a silver lining, and the heavens never leave a fish without a way out:

Good news: The old woman from another world and her grandson respect the dignity of a fish with knowledge.

Bad news: Alhaitham, whose household registration booklet has only one page left, is a delinquent who sneaks out to fight without telling the fish. He makes your fish life pretty rough.

Good news: Alhaitham got a Vision, and from then on, he never lost a fight.

Bad news: He was thrown into the river by the Eremites hired at great expense by his enemies.

Good news: It was all an act.

Bad news: You believed it.

Good news: After a decade of vicissitudes, a new page has finally been added to the lonely household registration booklet of Alhaitham's family.

Bad news: That page is you.

...Who could have seen this coming? Kaveh has no choice but to worry about both the fish's safety and Alhaitham's mental state.

But for this poor young man, good fortune rarely comes with bad. The harsh reality tends to deliver another hard blow straight to his soft heart.

For example...

Good news: As far as anything above or below the neck goes, Kaveh guesses, and Tighnari confirms by sight, that Alhaitham probably hasn't started doing anything to the fish yet.

Bad news: The Grand Scribe went on a sudden trip to Fontaine under the pretense of official business, got a diving certificate while he was there, and is now on his way back.

The fish looks at Kaveh with an innocent expression. Kaveh, who designed a newlywed home for the fish, looks back in pain.

Who the heck wants to know what Alhaitham plans to use that certificate for?

■ Pairing: Alhaitham. If anyone is out of character, it's my fault. ()
