Transmigrated as the Fierce Stepmother in a Period Novel

After transmigrating, Ruan Zhizhi became the vicious stepmother who abused the villain in a period novel.

The villain was young when his father died, leaving him with a stepmother who only pretended to be kind and virtuous. After his father was gone, she showed her true colors and became a notorious shrew in every village for miles around.

From then on, his stepmother beat and cursed him constantly. Every day, he had to wash clothes, cook, do farm work, and even serve her by washing her feet.

Driven to the brink, the villain turned evil. He smashed his stepmother to death with a footbath and threw her corpse to the wild dogs.

Ruan Zhizhi survived for twenty years in the apocalypse, only to starve to death when she couldn't even dig up a tree root. Now that she has arrived in this era of green hills and clear waters, her greatest joy every day is eating her fill and stocking up on grain from her own fields.

The poisonous wild berries no one dares eat become sweet fruit tea that nourishes the skin and promotes longevity when she boils them. The sharp-toothed fish no one dares touch turns into a nutritious, delicious braised dish.

Having lived through the apocalypse, Ruan Zhizhi says that even if you gave her nothing but roadside weeds, she could make three dishes and a soup.

As for the skinny little villain, all skin and bones, Ruan Zhizhi raises him as if he were a kitten. She only has to wait until the time is right to send him to school in the city, and then she can enjoy a quiet life of her own.

But on his very first day at school, the little villain walked ten miles back in the dark. His eyes red, he said hoarsely, "Mother, I'm back to wash your feet."

Ruan Zhizhi was so frightened that she clutched the footbath and ran away in the middle of the night.

Because of an assignment for his organization, Song Zhizhi was temporarily sent to work at a classified agency. He never expected that ten years would pass before he returned. Ten years later, wearing a large red flower on his chest, he came home in glory, having achieved wealth and honor. The people he felt most guilty toward were his wife and child.

He had assumed that life would be very hard for the two of them without a man in the house. But as soon as he entered the courtyard, he smelled the aroma of meat.

"Mother, this meat is delicious."

"Eat plenty. I offered it at your father's grave first. Eating it will bring us good fortune, keep us safe, and make us rich."

Song Zhizhi pushed open the door and said, "All right, I heard your wish."

(The little villain is not the male lead's biological son. The male lead had an arranged marriage in the past, but there were no feelings between them, and they only met twice. Single-couple romance.)

Theme: The working people are the most glorious.
