[The Great Ruler] The Sword Sect's Qu Jiang Is Suddenly in Love

Qū means gaunt, emaciated.

Jiang is the surname of the Yan Emperor.

Qu Jiang means a waning sun and a chill, aloof spirit: lofty and immaculate, like frost and cold. It melts in the light and gathers when pressed.

It is snow.

A note:

The protagonist is a former playboy in the making, married young in his prime, only for his wife to die early. He then turns into a cold, awkward, muddleheaded widower (or is he a widower in name only?). I haven't settled on the love interest, but most likely it's one of Lin, Xiao, or Mu. It all depends on whether he's older or younger. I won't shy away from the original male lead's confidantes or harem tendencies, but I'll handle them more gently. The protagonist is the male lead of a third-rate, suggestive, all-genders erotic game, but the lead writer loves green hats and people throwing themselves at others, and is a chaotic fun-seeker, so the plot is garbage and the game flops spectacularly.

I mainly want to write this to see both sides getting thoroughly shaken up, and to watch a career-minded protagonist from a certain site clash with the romance-obsessed mindset of someone from another site (or maybe another one?). I also really don't want to read any more lie-flat fiction, so here's some cultivation, murder, and treasure-snatching. A self-indulgent work written to satisfy my own cravings.

Waaah, I know the snow isn't pure, but please get what I mean.

The original blurb was too long, so it got expanded into a prologue. For details on the protagonist's character, see the prologue. In short, he's a typical cold, aloof male romance lead, except he uses a blade instead of a sword.

By the way, are there any old-school fanfics from that certain site? I'm starving, feed me! If anyone's reading this, please recommend some.
