I ended up in a dynasty I’d never even heard of, along with all my secret identities.
Question: How do I register myself and my four secret identities when they’re all lonely ghosts with no spiritual energy to sustain them, barely able to exist, and keep us from kicking the bucket?
Qin Shu, back from the world of cultivation but unable to cultivate: Make up stories. The more thrilling, dramatic, and painfully insincere, the better. That way, spiritual energy will pour in from the listeners.
If the characters also happen to tug at people’s heartstrings, I might even be able to beg for some offerings to bring us back to life: merit can shape our bodies, worship can give us form, and the dead can become living again.
For example:
First: Give the story a rich background, preferably involving grudges spanning two generations.
The armed guard snapped, “Who are you? Why have you appeared in the ancestral temple of Great Chu?”
The man before him paused, then said softly, “Chu? After Qin, it’s Chu now?”
He sighed. “Has more than a hundred years really passed?”
Second: Give the characters distinct personalities, preferably ones that make people love and hate them at the same time.
A soul from another world had brought them countless ways to enrich the country and improve people’s lives. The emperor was delighted.
At the banquet he had specially held to thank him, the emperor of Great Chu repeatedly raised his cup. Then his expression grew complicated, and he sighed, “I never knew that before our dynasty there was a powerful state like Qin. But Qin had a son named Jia, so why was he never heard of? There isn’t even a trace of him in the history books.”
“Your Majesty governs with dedication, so you are naturally unafraid of Qin’s place in history,” the man replied, unflinching before the weapons and unconcerned by the commotion his words stirred among the ministers. “But your ancestors may not have been.”
Third: Give the ending a clever twist, preferably one that brings laughter through tears and tears through laughter.
The current chief councilor stared in shock. “The people never paid homage to you, yet you were willing to die for them?”
The emperor of Great Chu was equally grief-stricken. “If I’d had a son like Jia, how could we have lost the war and the country? That good-for-nothing was unfit to rule! Why did you accept the abdication edict at the last moment and sacrifice yourself for your country?”
The man’s dark cloak fluttered lightly in the wind. He said softly, “Though a country may cease to be a country, a ruler who has been king for even a single day remains king forever.”
He spoke gently. “You needn’t grieve like this. Qin has fallen, but Chu and its people will have a better future. It’s time for me to go, too.”
Fourth: Plant as many clues as possible at the beginning of the story, so the audience can have a startling and unforgettable emotional experience.
The emperor of Great Chu asked, “You’re barely twenty. Do you have a courtesy name? And why do you like wearing black robes and a cloak? Are you afraid of the cold?”
“Your Majesty, I have no courtesy name. In the chaos, I was given the name Jia. I wear black simply out of habit.”
“The history books record that Qin fell amid the flying snows of a bitter winter. The Emperor of Sorrow was tortured to death, his blood staining his black robes... The people rejoiced and called him ‘Jia.’ Thus, many born that year were forbidden the name Jia, to celebrate the Emperor of Sorrow’s death.”

The left chancellor, who disguised herself as a man and rose to the highest office: To establish a moral compass for the world, secure the people’s livelihood, carry on the lost teachings of the sages, and bring peace to all generations.
“If she hadn’t been sickly and died young, the Qin dynasty could have lasted at least thirty years longer.”
The female general who strategized from behind the scenes and never lost a battle: To reach Langjuxu Mountain and enjoy the income of ten thousand households.
“If the general hadn’t been betrayed back then, the realm of Chu would have belonged to Qin by now!”
The rosy-robed eunuch, beautiful as a woman and wielding great power: I shall die loyal. Please, Your Highness, set it down in writing.
“I spent my whole life as a hound of the imperial court. Now that I have washed away my filth, I ask you to let me follow you into the underworld.”
Original secret identities; fantasy setting, but the only golden finger is that the secret identities can turn intangible at will. The focus is on building their personas. Some of the blurb is quoted. The first, second, and third examples are inspired by the Tang-style acting rules from Love Apartment, and are marked in the story. All the stories are made up and have no real-life inspirations! The secret identities will live in the end, but the stories are fake. Let me stress that again: fake. The female lead is ruthless at heart. HE.
Sorry, writing secret identity stories is just too addictive. I’ll follow the rankings when I can, but won’t update daily. 6.24.
Coming soon: All the Court Officials Are My Secret Identities
An ancient court-building game came out and took the world by storm.
It was highly immersive, and accounts couldn’t be revived. On top of that, every court official was an SSR.
All the players were eager to build a prosperous dynasty in the game, but they didn’t dare to be too confrontational.
That was because the reigning Martial Emperor was more or less a good ruler, but he had one terrible habit: he liked to be admonished to the point of death.
After two months of playing, a large number of players slammed their game pods in frustration. “He won’t listen no matter what we say. The only way to get our advice through is to die for it. I’m done with this game!”
Unexpectedly, the Minister of Personnel stepped forward at that moment. “As a subject, how can I cling to life and shirk my duty?”
Then he drew his sword and killed himself, spattering blood across the court.
The Grand Tutor followed, then an unknown nobody... One day, thirteen people died remonstrating, and only then did the Martial Emperor withdraw his decree. Every player was stunned.
Then came the efforts to tame the Yellow River. The ruler wouldn’t listen, so the minister died remonstrating. The players tried to stop a reckless war of conquest. The ruler wouldn’t listen, so an attendant died remonstrating. When the Martial Emperor wanted to build an extravagant palace, even the top scholar who had placed first in all three imperial examinations died remonstrating.
Almost all the court officials were dead, apart from the players. Only then did the dynasty show the faintest glimmer of recovery, but the players no longer dared to remonstrate. They didn’t want to use the lives of their officials to unlock achievements.
At this moment, Sheng Zao: Hurry, hurry, why have you stopped giving advice? Haven’t enough of your secret identities died yet? The Martial Emperor is about to give in. I’m going to get a secret identity ready to manage the Yellow River!
The female lead is a real person from ancient times; she just has a ton of secret identities. Later on, she’ll realize that the players are players, but there won’t be any conflict. Focuses on building up the realm through the ruler and her ministers. Both the female lead’s and the players’ perspectives appear. The players provide her with modern perspectives on governance and development, giving her a boost. The female lead herself takes the throne in the end. There’ll be plenty of overactive speculation. Dying to remonstrate is just one of the more extreme methods the female lead doesn’t care much about, but which players find excessive. It’s not the main storyline. The focus is on shaping worthy, loyal ministers who will be remembered for generations (not really). There’ll be forum-style sections. HE.
Don’t ask why I’m doing the secret identity swapping trope again. I just like it.

Coming soon: My Four Secret Identities’ Ships Go Viral on a Dating Show
Song Zhiji, an obscure C-list celebrity, has a secret: she has four dazzling secret identities, each won through a lucky draw. As a supporting female character whose luck has been drained, she can barely stay alive without them.
She never expected the System to be such a ruthless taskmaster. While she helped her secret identities climb from rock bottom to the top, she didn’t get to contribute a thing.
Just as she was about to survive the plot’s kill order and enjoy her retirement, the System suddenly told her it was time to pay her debt!
She had borrowed against her luck to enter the lucky draws, so even though the plot was almost over, this supporting female character still had to work, work, work, and pay off her points before she could finally live the life she wanted!
Song Zhiji: $;&;)
The System pretended not to hear Song Zhiji’s cursing. “There’s only one dating show left. Make four couples go viral, and you’ll have a perfect ending.”
Four couples, all going viral. Song Zhiji, who had been single since birth, decided to lie flat.
After all, the money and luck her four secret identities had earned were already enough to let her real self die a hundred times over.
She thought that, after borrowing against her luck, bad luck was bound to follow her. She was ready to make a fool of herself on the dating show over and over.
But after the show aired, all four couples connected to her became instant hits.
The aloof best actor quietly cooked congee for Song Zhiji in the middle of the night when her stomach hurt, then fed it to her.
The cool, elegant best actress carefully picked up the shards of glass on the beach while walking with her, afraid she might cut her feet.
The bubbly girl group member showed a nervous, anxious side completely unlike her on-camera persona when Song Zhiji got hurt.
Even the eccentric director, who never paid attention to anyone else, would suddenly find inspiration while studying her features and smile tenderly.
Most importantly, thanks to their countless fans, videos shipping them with Song Zhiji, featuring love-triangle drama, or imagining them all in a harem went viral. Song Zhiji became the nation’s favorite ship overnight, and her popularity soared.
Song Zhiji: ??? Are you kidding me? Who would fall for themselves?
She didn’t realize that no bond could be more precious than the unparalleled closeness and understanding between them. It was enough to make people ship them with everything under the sun.
Her secret identities: That’s right, we love Zhiji the most!
Her secret identities are maxed out from the start, while the female lead is a laid-back slacker. The story mainly focuses on the secret identities’ feelings for the female lead, so there may be a lot of descriptions of her slow reactions. Don’t read if that’s not your thing. I’m used to writing BE, so I’m trying a bit of HE and will keep it lighthearted if I can, though no promises. This isn’t a choose-your-love-interest story. Later, she might end up in a selfcest relationship with one of her secret identities, or from the audience’s perspective they might all end in tragedy (not really). She’ll always be with her secret identities, so I’m boldly tagging this HE.

Theme: Establish a moral compass for the world, secure the people’s livelihood, carry on the lost teachings of the sages, and bring peace to all generations.
If this is true, it is indeed a knife. It feels like fate is playing tricks on people. It's hard to describe how I feel right now. It's just me. I just found out today that my sister's first love, Bai Yueguang, actually likes me too. I've always rejected requests to join me in school before. It doesn't count as rejection. I just don't log in very much and play with my phone as soon as I get home, so I often forget. He mentioned it to me six or seven times. I told him that we were classmates and were in the same class. If there was anything he could say directly, there was no need to add □ because I couldn't remember it. As a result, he thought I didn't like him. Then when I graduated, he asked me three questions anonymously. One was to boldly write the name of the person I liked, and the second was: Am I still single now? The third question is: Do I have someone I like? What is he like? I also found visitors in the □□ space. One is his account, and the other is his trumpet. His trumpet name is X. Xxxxx, and my last name is It's really a pity, but I don't regret it. After all, I felt that if I were with him at that time, I would probably delay him, because my grades were only average and his grades were very good. As a result, I was admitted to a local ordinary school, and then I heard others say that his grades could go to the key points, but he chose the school I told him I wanted to go to. That school was also very good, but he could obviously go to a better school. So I still feel a little guilty towards him. I can only say that it is fate that plays tricks on people.
Woo woo woo, even though it's cruel, I love watching it, woo woo woo
I took this cruel abuse (I cried until I died)
It's so painful. It's obviously fake, but people get involved in the drama, worried and heartbroken.
More than one person has been tainted, covered up and obliterated by history. History books are all written by the victors.
I read it intermittently and subscribed. Write some personal thoughts. First of all, Qin himself is slightly lighter in color, and Heng's role is more similar to the central character (although he is also the same person). In addition, for Chu Emperor and Chu Chen, because Heng had a feeling that I would not kill Boren but Boren would die because of me (especially when he saw Emperor Chu aging). Qin's original intention was to tell a big lie in order to survive, but in the later period, I felt that it deviated from the original intention, and it felt like torture for the sake of torture... I don't know how to put it, I felt that I used too much force (on my fingers)/The above is just a personal feeling, because the intermittent reading later may not be very rigorous.
Good guy, it just stopped like that.
We cannot look back on the past, but we only wish to sing praises for our virtues for eternity.
Although it is just a fiction, the fact that Prince Heng and his three friends worked so hard and died is enough to make the living weep.
(I'm also very polite when speaking, ah, it's hard for me to express myself)
I like this sentence, "Those who are extremely talented are admired by the world." It's great.
There were many people playing with their mobile phones in class, but I was the only one crying. (Pull out paper) (Pull out paper) (Pull out paper)
Wow, how can he say he was lucky enough to die when he was a teenager!
