The First Guard [Wuxia Crossover]

Jiang Zichen, the emperor-appointed foremost Embroidered Uniform Guard, met with an accident while being rewarded and transmigrated to a wuxia world.

Fortunately, he was highly adaptable and soon found a place to stay in this unfamiliar land:

The Prince of Taiping's residence was hiring guards. Meals and lodging included, with a pay raise after a year on the job.

Jiang Zichen thought the job would involve guarding the residence, patrolling, and making arrests.

After joining, he discovered it was nothing but a case of false advertising.

A friend: What do you mean, guarding the residence? What do you mean, patrolling and making arrests? All we do is get ourselves into trouble!

"Have you heard? The most beautiful and most vicious person in the desert is looking for a guard named Jiang to be their lover."

"That's nothing! The aloof Sword God, who lives for the sword, traveled to the ends of the earth for Guard Jiang!"

"But I heard the untouchable heir has a Guard Jiang hidden in his home, and every day in his room..."

Jiang Zichen, the infamous Guard Jiang: ...That's true, but somehow it doesn't sound quite right.

After Jiang Zichen had worked there for a while and was getting ready to leave, wedding invitations came raining down on him.

Jiang Zichen, who hadn't read one: ...Does everyone need to know about a pay raise?

A passing young man with four eyebrows: ...Brother, I think those are wedding invitations.

Title: This Master of Mine Is Acting Strange.

Blurb:

It is said that Jing Zhuo, the top constable of the Six Fan Gate, has always been ruthless and strict about following the rules.

Until one day, the chief constable, famed for being able to drink a thousand cups without getting drunk, suddenly let something slip while drunk. He claimed that the Six Fan Gate didn't just kill people, it also practiced medicine. The chief constable even declared that he would make the Six Fan Gate's top constable prove him right.

When the chief constable came looking for him, Jing Zhuo ran away. As the saying goes, you have to get back up where you fell. But for a constable with blood on both hands, saving lives would be no easy task.

Shan Xing Si: I'm the finest doctor in the martial world. If you want to learn medicine, you can study under me.

To avoid the chief constable bothering him when he returned to the Six Fan Gate, Jing Zhuo agreed.

Until one day, Jing Zhuo saw Shan Xing Si drinking merrily with the chief constable

Shan Xing Si: If you hadn't helped me make that boast back then, Zhuo'er might never have become my disciple and given herself to me.

Chief Constable: Not at all. You just paid me a lot.

Jing Zhuo: ???
