I Became a Hit Overseas with Metaphysics

Since the country has a policy against spirits turning into humans, Lu Baiwei doesn't want to get into trouble. If she wants practical experience, she has to go abroad to find ghosts, though she tells people she's studying overseas.

Later, she made a name for herself abroad. Plenty of people knew her as an exorcism master. She was practically one book deal away from publishing, with a movie adaptation to follow.

During one visit back home, an elder in her family asked her to handle an incident. Just as she raised her peachwood sword, ready for a hundred rounds against a ghost, a group of people barged in, yelling and pointing a camera at her.

Lu Baiwei tried to get them to leave, but failed. She could only hide from the camera as she sent the ghost away. When the streamer grew suspicious, she even claimed to be a materialist and told them to trust science.

The streamer and viewers all felt there was something off about her, and some even suspected she was a ghost herself.

Later, those viewers came across foreign news reports reposted by other netizens. The exorcism master in the videos looked awfully familiar. The more they learned, the more they discovered that she had two different sides.

Lu Baiwei (in China): Trust science.

Lu Baiwei (abroad): I sense the presence of an evil spirit.

The viewers: ...

So, can anything this woman says be trusted?
