Mizutani Hikaru, a diligent employee at a legitimate company in the Port, is satisfied with his job today, too.
He has a decent position at the Port company, a steady salary, loyal subordinates, and a benevolent boss who often pays for get-togethers out of his own pocket.
But his peaceful life comes to an abrupt end when a book suddenly flies at him and sticks to his face. At that moment, the book vanishes, but a bookshelf appears in his mind.
[The Fox Wife and the Strongest: Two's Company]
[Port Romance Series, Vol. 3: The Curry-Scented Assassin's Infiltration]
[The Domineering Detective's All-Consuming Love]
The bookshelf is full of bizarre mash-ups, even mixed with the latest ABO settings. Mizutani hadn't planned to pay any attention, but the familiar names in the books, combined with their plots, leave him feeling suffocated.
Worst of all, this mutated book is a master of forcing deals on people. It insists he use a secret identity to check in and take a photo with every key character to finish the job. Otherwise, it'll make him experience the cringe-worthy scenes himself.
[Mizutani's thoughts: Somebody save me!]
With his first secret identity, he becomes a flashy young sorcerer whose techniques can take on the world, a student of the strongest sorcerer.
In the quiet that follows, he looks straight at the student who is supposedly sentenced to death. "Nothing can so easily take an innocent child's life. I won't let you die that way."
Ending achieved: [No one can control your fate or your choices]
([Negative review] The strongest really is the strongest, but I still haven't seen that gentle fox wife. The sincere friendship between classmates is great, though.)
With his second secret identity, he is adopted by a subordinate who seems utterly ordinary. One moment Mizutani Hikaru is giving his subordinate orders; the next, he finds out what it's like to become that subordinate's son.
A young child with beautiful eyes, dark and lifeless, tugs at his adoptive father's sleeve and whispers, "If we don't leave, we'll all die." His supernatural ability lets him foretell fate.
Ending achieved: [The Rise of a New Tokyo Author]
([Negative review] I never wanted to call my subordinate Dad, but he really is good to the kid. I'll find a way to give him a raise on the side. Secret Identity Two is sick of eating curry every day.)
With his third secret identity, he becomes a detective intern, making a name for himself in Tokyo before moving on to Yokohama, where he blows up Gin in front of him and punches the Mafia.
The violent detective, with sharp eyes and a lean, well-muscled figure, darts his gaze around in front of Yokohama's famous detective. After a long while, he finally asks, nervously, "Could I take a picture with you?"
Ending achieved: [A Grand Feast of Detective Merriment]
([Negative review] This secret identity periodically gets a berserk buff. When I got angry, I smashed up my own Mafia, but the detectives at the Armed Detective Agency really are impressive!)
Later on, not a single person from the technical college is lost. He successfully writes a new book, letting a whole family live happily together. A certain elementary school detective returns to his original body and invites Secret Identity Three to a huge meal with Ran.
Mizutani Hikaru raises a hand to cover his eyes in the office, but he can't hide the smile at the corners of his mouth. Experiencing several different lives and changing people's fates for the better isn't so bad after all.
1. Everyone survives.
2. Fundamentally a sweet story, with an extremely happy ending. No one, including the protagonist's secret identities, will die.
3. The protagonist's secret identities are never exposed.
This story features:
[Yesterday I was your boss, and today I've become your son]
[The secret identity is losing it. Why is everyone in the sorcery world so crazy? Where's the gentle, kind fox wife described in the book???, Oh, it turns out he's even crazier.]
[After silently staring at Edogawa for three minutes, he says with a strange look on his face, "Actually, I'm not that domineering either."]
A few notes:
1. The world is normal. All the books on the bookshelf are absurd fanfiction.
2. A standard happy ending, with comedy and no angst.
Here's another novel that's currently updating: [I Bound a Furniture System to Save the World]
[New chapters every night at nine. Extra chapters at irregular intervals. Come check it out, kisses!!!]
Yuejian Lan was twenty-six when a System bound him, loudly proclaiming, "Congratulations, you've won the grand prize!" But the unreliable System was ten years late.
At sixteen, high school student Yuejian Lan read hot-blooded manga every day and devoted himself to saving the world. The secret identity System he awakened was guaranteed to give him a super-powered combat style.
But at twenty-six, office drone Yuejian Lan dreams only of having a home of his own.
The office drone looks up and points at himself with a world-weary expression. "Save the world? Me?"
The System, ten years late, can't change its chosen target. Bound to Yuejian Lan, it awakens a furniture-themed random secret identity unlike anything it has ever seen.
SSR: Refrigerator. Silver-white hair falls in the evening breeze, and his deep blue eyes are like frozen ice.
SSR: Recliner. A tall, muscular man with short blue hair has a soft, well-built body. His eyes are the same shade, and looking into them brings on a strange drowsiness.
SSR: Water Heater. His temper is fiery, and his body temperature is several times that of an ordinary person. Wherever his pale pink eyes fall, steamy heat seems ready to rise...
One office drone: "Great, new furniture at last. It'd be even better if it didn't look human."
A quiet murmur rises in the darkness. The stars in his dreams never change. Just when he thinks that finding the sorcery world will answer all his questions, a new fog descends one after another.
What Yuejian Lan has: illusions, secret identities, and an unreliable System. What he has to face: curses, enemies, and a world on the brink of madness.
Theme: Work hard and never give up!
Sure enough, the most interesting vest is the snow. The tugging feeling of the sandwich is so delicious. The first vest, Suzuki Yuu, feels like it's all about soy sauce. The detective vest is like a tool, specially used to help Conan and others solve the black organization. But when it comes to the emotional line, it's the most puzzling and confusing one!
Teacher, please try harder [crying] It's too short and not enough to watch.
Little Snowflake... I haven't seen Little Snowflake for a long time... Wait, why are there just these little bits left? No, no more. More—(howling)
Great. I guessed it right from the beginning. I really like the interaction between the protagonist and Oda Tsukuru.
I can't do it anymore. I feel like Oda will turn into a scumbag. The body of the vest is very natural in love.
Is the teacher still writing... I miss Xiaoxuehua so much
Thanks for the limited fee.
The writing style is very good and the reading is smooth, and the setting is also delicious. Although there are a lot of typos and a few bugs (for example, Yuki and Satoru met Ranpo together, and later Yuki and Ranpo looked like strangers when they met again; another example is that Detective Majia had already told Conan about "a friend in the organization", and later said it again). I feel that the author may have forgotten it because he wrote it for a long time? But overall it looks pretty good.
Well, by the way, let's clear it up again. Although the introduction can't tell the truth, in the end Odasaku knew the relationship between the protagonist and the detective vest. Then the CP is the protagonist and Oda Tsukuru, not Narcissus.
The rest is pretty good. I don't feel like the ending was rushed. Aoto got to know Matsuda Jinpei and the others, but the two of them never had any scenes together. It felt like a pity. Conan's part was solved too quickly, but it looked smooth and there were no logic bugs. It was still delicious [Milk Tea]
Then the author still remembers to say that the extra chapter will be updated once a day. QAQ is looking forward to the extra chapter update [please][please][please]
Hui looked at the five items in the queue, and then looked at the five items on her phone: (brainstorming)
[Orange candy] Got it [Purple candy] kswl
It's impossible to stop here [crying]
In the end, Oda really became a succubus, and made people so desperate that they were willing to take their children out when the main palace came.
