I Hear My Boyfriend Is Humanity's Last Hope

On December 6, 3035, Stellar Era, in the Chalk System, Country L announced a nuclear leak at its largest nuclear power plant and advised citizens to evacuate on their own.

Ten years later, in 3045, nuclear radiation ran rampant, glaciers melted, volcanoes erupted, species mutated, and disasters plagued the world.

The super AI that once assisted in rescue operations declared itself an independent kingdom. Its core directive was to eliminate carbon-based life. Hospitals were filled with patients whose skin had begun to rot, while the once-steel cities were swallowed by mutated plants and animals, reduced to desolate, deathly abysses.

After twenty years of being an utterly ordinary person, Zhu Xingli had been lucky enough to avoid nuclear contamination. Then, one snowy night, he stepped into the world of people with supernatural abilities.

Before that, Zhu Xingli was nothing more than an ordinary male college student.

Afterward, he plunged headfirst into a world woven from life and death, fire and ice, fighting the most dangerous genetic monsters and single-handedly tearing through the super AI's steel kingdom.

"Superpowers? Special abilities? Call them whatever you like, but we have a more fitting name for them: the Chosen."

"And you, Zhu Xingli..."

"You are destined to be the future of the Chosen."

Zhu Xingli didn't think he was humanity's hope or the world's future.

He just wanted to lead everyone through the trials together and live to see the day the end arrived.

Even if the world was destined to be destroyed.

We face it together.
