Crossover: Yato and the Police Academy Five's Ill-Fated Five-Yen Connection

The god who is still fighting for the shrine he wants to keep: Yato.

The police academy student who has yet to fulfill his lifelong wish: Matsuda Jinpei.

Yato: Give me five yen, and I can give you the whole world.

Matsuda: Huh?

Yato: That's right, I'm a god!

Matsuda: ??? Then can you make it happen if I want to punch the Superintendent General?

Yato: Heh heh, easy. Just pay me 2.5 yen upfront.

Half-convinced, Matsuda handed over 500 yen and told him to keep the change.

Well, Yato saw that his client was so easygoing and had even tipped him, so that very night he gave the Superintendent General a good beating.

The next day, the Superintendent General appeared on the local news in Beika Town, declaring he would never let the criminal who assaulted him get away with it.

Matsuda: ...Zero, do you believe there are gods in this world?

Furuya Rei raised a hand and pressed it to Matsuda's forehead. "Matsuda, are you feeling all right?"

A few years later:

Yato: Matsuda, five yen and I'll defuse the bomb for you.

Matsuda: Huh? No need!

A few minutes later...

Matsuda: You really can do it?

Yato: Of course! Five yen.

Matsuda silently handed over his entire wallet.

The bond between a god and a human isn't so easily severed.

Note: Yato is gender-swapped. Don't read if that bothers you.
