Anime Crossover, Mainly Detective Conan: What Do I Do When My Childhood Friend Refuses to Live with Me?

For the umpteenth time, Kamijo Mai wondered if she'd moved to the wrong place.

She thought she could escape all the troubles of her past by moving to Beika Town, but compared to where she'd lived before, this place was even worse. Buildings exploded every few days, and criminal cases kept happening one after another. As far as she could tell, aside from a few familiar faces, anyone in Beika Town might become a suspect at any moment.

At least she'd run into her childhood friend. He was now a police officer who could handle things on his own. To settle down safely in this "high-risk zone," Kamijo Mai suggested they share a place, even offering to cover a larger share of the rent.

But he had just one condition: she had to explain why she'd left without a word all those years ago, then dumped him by giving him the cold shoulder.

Kamijo Mai looked utterly baffled. When had that happened? When had she ever dated this adorable childhood friend? And then treated him like trash?

When he saw she genuinely couldn't remember, he angrily rejected her offer to share a place. But despite his anger, he still rented the house next door for her and left her with a single remark: "Whenever you figure it out, you can move in with me."

Her childhood friend was just as tsundere as ever. But the problem was... she really didn't remember them ever dating!
