Reborn with a Sword in My Left Hand

Shu Jianyang was orphaned at seven and had nowhere to turn when the Xiao family of Wangtian took her in.

She practiced swordsmanship day and night, hoping to win the Sword Cauldron for the Wangtian Sect and repay the Xiao family for their kindness.

Years later, she finally brought the Sword Cauldron back, just as she had hoped.

But it was only when Xiao Mengge ordered her execution that she learned the Xiao family had been responsible for her homelessness all those years ago.

Xiao Mengge had coveted her natural sword physique and plotted for years, all to kill her and offer her as a sacrifice to the cauldron.

Shu Jianyang, who had always kept her emotions hidden, was furious, but it was too late.

The Return to Heaven Sword Formation pierced her heart with ten thousand swords.

When she opened her eyes, Shu Jianyang was back at the crossroads of her life:

the rainy night when her father was murdered and she fled alone.

Back then, young and powerless, she had thought the mountain road to the Heavenly Gate was her only choice.

It had taken a life to prove that path led nowhere, so naturally, she wouldn't make the same mistake again.

But she couldn't understand why the person who had once severed her right hand had stood in front of her when she was trapped in the sword formation.

He had made a terrible move in his last life, but at least he got to die alongside the person he loved. That hadn't been so bad, had it?

He never expected Heaven to give him a chance to start over.

Of course he would make the most of it.

He Xin thought that if Shu Jianyang stayed out of the Heavenly Gate, he could prevent the tragedy to come.

But things seemed to have gone differently from the very beginning.

That girl hadn't appeared when she was supposed to.

When he finally saw her again, he discovered that although she had both hands intact this time, why was she...

still holding her sword in her left hand?!

◎ Warnings:

Neither lead is very clever.

The male lead is also completely lovesick.
