A pseudo-Call of Cthulhu tabletop campaign, so there isn't much of a learning curve.
Introducing the lucky investigator who was targeted by Hounds of Tindalos but never got their character killed

Everything has its cause and effect. There must be some reason you have appeared in this curious room.
1. You are sitting at a table, facing a handsome young man. He is the Keeper.
This is a tabletop role-playing game. In the scenario, a male high school student falls to his death from the roof of the school building. At the Keeper's invitation, you take on the role of an investigator and uncover the mystery behind the incident.
2. On your first playthrough, as a new player, you have no idea what you're supposed to do, until someone brings you the news of the boy's death.
3. You roll the Dice of Fate and enter your second playthrough.
You think you should do something to stop the tragedy, but you fail.
The Keeper reminds you: the investigator's goal is to solve the mystery of the boy's fall from the roof.
4. You roll the Dice of Fate and enter your third playthrough.
This time, you actually succeed in preventing the boy's death.
But with no death, there is no mystery either. You look at the Keeper, unsure what to do next.
The Keeper gently carries the story onward, while you, still lost, continue playing your character.
Gradually, you realize that at some point, you have found yourself at the heart of cause and effect.
This is the boy's story, the Keeper's story, and your story.
5. The Dice of Fate, also known as the Causal Polyhedron. An artifact that allows people to return to the past (1). [This information cannot be revealed yet, as the conditions have not been met (2) (3) (4).]
“Why didn't you come?” the boy demands.
At last, you remember: in the height of summer eleven years ago, you stood among the bushes and said to a boy:
“Keep it up next year!”
[Reading Guide]
1. A brief introduction to tabletop role-playing terms
Keeper: The person who keeps the secrets and runs the game, also known as the game master;
PL: Player;
PC: Player character, the character played by a player;
RP: A player's role-playing actions.
2. This is a story related to music, primarily the violin. The characters' extensive subjective opinions and appreciation can be considered their RP.
3. The band life is based on TV and film, introductions from friends, and the author's imagination. The author hasn't experienced it firsthand, so some details may be inaccurate.
4. There are actually two PLs, and the Keeper and PL2 are not human.
5. Includes a small amount of Lovecraftian horror, involving time loops.
6. All characters are adults, but the love interest is younger. The female lead is five years older.
7. Unless something unexpected happens, the ending will be open!
8. Best enjoyed with Vitali's Chaconne in G Minor.
Coming soon: Can You Raise a Jumping Spider on an Exile Planet?
Lu Mai transmigrates into an abandoned experimental subject.
The researchers are shocked, because this experimental subject was confirmed dead.
They decide to send the resurrected monster to an exile colony for observation, for the time being.
In her cell, Lu Mai finds an eight-legged friend.
She used to be terrified of bugs, but seeing a familiar creature in another world makes her feel especially close to it.
She decides to register the little spider as her pet, to keep her company through her long prison sentence.
However,
when she plans to reduce her sentence by passing a certification exam, the spider frantically hints at the correct answers.
When she is thrown into a mecha camp as cannon fodder, the spider calmly directs the battle from the control panel.
Lu Mai knows this is no ordinary spider.
What she doesn't know is that the extraordinary spider watches her intently every day, thinking about how to take back its own body.

[Special Experimental Subject 677]
Possesses exceptionally high intelligence and combat talent. Hostile toward humans and has a strong desire to destroy.
To prevent it from reproducing and reduce its aggression, it was modified into a sexless individual before undergoing various biological experiments.
Experiment One... complete.
Experiment Two... complete.
Experiment... failed. Special Experimental Subject 677 has died.
Special Experimental Subject 677 revived after a state of apparent death. It has lost its former intelligence and combat talent, is friendly toward humans, and shows no obvious desire to destroy.
The special experimental subject has been registered under the name Lu Mai and sent to Exile Site N21 for observation.
Inmate OA7W: Good behavior.
Theme: Bear your burdens as you move forward, and make your life count.
Ness, this setting is really rare.
It turns out that Lu Xian's psychology is so low
The plot is really eye-catching. Is the author wife interested in writing more group running stories like this?
Familiar kp who doesn't speak human words
Pre-collection of "Reemployment Guide for Humanoid Weapons", please collect it~ After the boss was forced to lay off, he recruited people to start his own business, and he prospered in the interstellar world, which made his former boss regret it.
After watching the ending, there is still a lot I didn't understand.
The author writes very well, and the plot design is very novel and eye-catching. I like it.
No extras? It feels like something is missing, empty
Well, for a better tomorrow!
In the middle of the night, Chinatsu opened her eyes: "I really deserve to die."
