Qi Yan was a high school sophomore: aloof, introverted, and bad at socializing.

He had become a fan of a crack ship between his actor uncle and a certain newcomer. He'd originally just been indulging in it by himself, but then his parents had something to take care of and sent him to stay at his uncle's place.

Tall and imposing, he stood in the shadows like a predator lying in wait, watching its prey. His mature voice was laced with endless amusement. "You little brat, you've got your eye on your uncle?"

Qi Yan: "You're drunk."

But his uncle leaned closer, the sweet, fiery scent of alcohol flooding Qi Yan's breath and sweeping over him. "But I like you too. That way."

Qi Yan shuddered all over.

He understood the moral implications. He picked up a glass of cooled boiled water from the table and splashed it in his uncle's face!

The man's hair and clothes were soaked, water dripping from him, but his smile never faded.

Later, his uncle, Chu Fengmian, had an accident on set.

The torrential rain soaked his shirt, revealing his slender waist. He looked devastatingly alluring. Just as he thought he was going to die in the earthquake, never to earn Qi Yan's forgiveness, someone rushed over and lifted him into their arms. Chu Fengmian buried his face in the crook of the other's neck and breathed weakly.

Qi Yan shuddered. He could still catch Chu Fengmian's distinctive scent. No longer able to suppress the feelings surging inside him, he kissed his uncle, ravenously devouring the sweet nectar.

He realized that at last, after so long spent feeling unsettled, he could finally calm down.

Qi Yan turned and lightly nibbled Chu Fengmian's earlobe as he murmured, his cool, clear voice slowly winding its way into the man's nerves: "They don't know how good Uncle is, or how good he is in bed."
