Li Xiang

It's a wonderful thing to stay true to your original aspirations

Li Xiang was taken in by Li Chaoyang, who told him he named him Li Xiang because if you keep someone in your thoughts, they will eventually answer your call. He always believed those words.

Until he faced his own feelings, until he realized that, in other people's eyes, he was nothing but a burden.

At first, he openly called Li Chaoyang "big brother." Later, when he realized his feelings, he changed that "brother" to "ge," and called Li Chaoyang "ge."

Later, he stopped hoping to share a household registration with him, and he didn't even dare call him Li Chaoyang anymore.

There was always a voice in Li Xiang's heart telling him: That's repaying kindness with resentment, returning good with evil, wishful thinking, an unattainable dream... Later, Li Xiang was no longer Li Xiang, and Li Chaoyang was no longer Li Chaoyang.

After that, Li Chaoyang would always whisper in Li Xiang's ear, "My little Xiang, you've always been my little Xiang."

Whether you're Li Xiang or Cheng Xiang, as long as you're you, you'll always be my little Xiang.

This was a dream of mine. I felt awful when I woke up, and thought I couldn't just leave it at that, so I wrote it down. Just for fun, don't take it too seriously. It's very short, but I like it a lot.

P.S. I like to weave lines from the blurb into the story. Some appear right next to each other, while others don't, but they'll show up in the story in the way I like.

Theme: Even a dream deserves a proper ending
